I will suggest you to choose CSE in SRM University. All these three colleges are equal. So you may choose one according to your interest.

Mechatronics is good here in SRM, labs are very good and interesting too, faculty is well experienced. But in terms of placement it is poor. There are no specific companies that recruit mechatronics students only, if you take mechatronics then you need to apply for automobile, mechanical or electrical companies for placements.

VIT is far better than SRM for M.Tech since the quality of education is very good and also there are the most number of research paper published from VIT every time.

It is not a very well known engineering college in the country or in the state or in the city. This is mainly because it is being recently started. The faculty in the departments are pretty decent but not very great. I have heard that focus on research is good in some departments like mechanical and automobile, but is really bad in some core departments like Electrical. Placements are not that great.

SRM is a good option as it has best placement, faculty and strong alumni record so you try in SRM.
