Yes, any candidate who meets the GATE 2026 eligibility will be able to appear for the exam. The criteria include the following -

  • Any undergraduate student in 3rd year or higher years of any government approved programme in any of the following disciplines, such as engineering/technology/architecture/science/commerce/arts/humanities are eligible for the GATE. 
  • Apart from that, the candidate must hold Indian citizenship.
  • There is no age-limit or pass percentage to appear for the examination.
  • Candidates from Nepal, Bangladesh, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Ethiopia, and the United Arab Emirates can apply for GATE 2026.

No the admission in Vellore institute of technology doesn't give direct admission in any branch or ECE.

The entrance exam VITEEE (VIT Engineering Entrance Examination) is mandatory to get admission in the institute to take admission in different branches like ECE

Dr BR Ambedkar Center for Biomedical Research cutoff 2025 for CUET PG has been released, wherein the cutoff score for admission to M.Sc. in Biomedical Sciences was 82 for the General AI category students. Please note that the cutoff scores varied for different rounds, courses, specializations, and categories. Candidates can view the CUET PG cutoff 2025 for different categories in the table below:

Candidates can apply for GATE 2026 once the registration link is activated. The link will be available for a specific timeline. 

  • First, the conducting authority, the Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati, launches the GATE 2026 official website along with the GATE dates. The official website of GATE 2026 is gate2026.iitg.ac.in. The GATE 2026 exam dates are OUT.
  • The GATE 2026 information brochure will be updated on the website soon (expected first week of August).

There is a good chance in getting an admission in B.Tech CSE.The University accepts students based on their performance in 12th with physics, chemistry, mathematics and English and score in JEE MAIN. If you hadn't appeared for JEE there can be Management quota seats.The University also accepts HSTES (haryana state technical education society)Entrance test. You can apply through the official website. You can also contact the college directly to know more about admission if you hadn't appeared for any entrance exam.

Candidates can find the GATE 2026 application form link on the official website of GATE 2026. For now, the link for GATE 2026 registration form is not activated yet. Candidates can also find the registration link here updated on our Shiksha page. 

The GATE 2026 registration link will remain active for a specific period of time. Therefore, aspirants are advised to fill out their application form as soon as possible.

Yes, you have a good chance of getting a CSE-related branch in some NITs and IIITs through JOSAA counseling with an EWS rank of 68730 and a CRL of 512048. While your CRL rank is lower, your EWS rank will be considered during seat allocation, giving you a better chance at getting into your preferred programs.

Dr SS Bhatnagar University Institute cutoff for BE has been released for round 2 for admission to the BE course. The cutoff has been released for different categories such as General and OBC, belonging to the All India quotas. For the General AI category candidates, the closing ranks were between the range of 106559 and 127829. Among the candidates belonging to the OBC AI category, the cutoff ranks were between the range of 112723 and 134678

Candidates can select their GATE exam centres at the time of filling out the GATE 2026 application form. The GATE application form 2026 is now available. Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria must go through the eligibility conditions and apply before the due date. Candidates can select upto three cities (from the same zone) from the list provided by the authorities. The list of the GATE 2026 can be checked zone-wise, which is as follows -

  • Zone 1  - IISc Bengaluru
  • Zone 2 - IIT Bombay
  • Zone 3 - IIT Delhi
  • Zone 4 -IIT Guwahati
  • Zone 5 - IIT Kanpur
