In our college, placements are very good but facilities are not up to the mark.

Placements: Placements are very good. The highest salary package offered was 52 LPA by Microsoft. The average salary package offered was 21 LPA. The minimum salary package offered was 17.5 LPA. The maximum salary package offered ranges between 11 LPA - 14 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 8.5 LPA. All students got selected in the placement drive.

Infrastructure: Since this college is operating from a temporary campus so it lacks certain facilities like sports and Wi-Fi. Laboratory is small. Classrooms are also not spacious. The library is not huge but several books are available. There are 3 canteens on our campus. Medical facilities are available. The food served in the mess is average.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, helpful, and supportive. The course curriculum is relevant. The exam pattern is designed in such a manner that it is not hectic for students. Semester exams are moderate. The pass criterion is 5 CGPA.

Other: This college will surely improve in the coming days as we will soon shift to our permanent campus in Sohra. This will surely improve some basic facilities such as sports, Wi-Fi, library, laboratory, etc. Our campus crowd is average. We can also participate in events to showcase our talents. We also get a chance to perform in competitions organised by other colleges.

Good placement and a good institute that is ranked in top 60 without its permanent campus .

Placements: The placement is quite good with about 90% students getting placed in good companies. The highest package in EEE dep is around 20lac/annum and average package is 6 lac/annum. The top recruiters are from mivr, Amaz, Deloitte, TCS etc. More than 80% students are given good internships and the roles offered are of consultant, etc.

Infrastructure: The infra of the college is not good since it's the temporary campus. Although good facil are provided to the students with transport service also available. Wi-Fi is present in whole campus and hostels. With lab facilities also present the library is somewhat small, but important books are available. Hostel facilities are also good with good food, Wi-Fi and television. Good accommodation is provided to students with clean environment. Although the hostel is lacking in sports and games because of being temporary.

Faculty: The teachers are all well educated and highly qualified. The education quality is good with the teachers being helpful and supportive. The course curriculum is relavant and makes the students industry ready with good practical knowledge. The semester exams are well prepared with all well balanced papers. The minimum passing marks are to score 30 /100 in endterm exams and overall 70/200 marks.

Absolute dissatisfaction due to infrastructure and many facilities.

Placements: Almost 120 companies participated in the campus recruitment process for roles in various fields, percentage placement is above 90%. The highest package for the year is 46 LPA offered by Microsoft and the overall annual package is 13 LPA. The average package for electrical and electronics engineering is 9.51 LPA. The internship scenario is very bad, the majority of the students have to go through unpaid internships due to a lack of opportunities.

Infrastructure: The institute's infrastructure is not so good due to the lack of a permanent campus, but it has all the basic requirements. Hostels are far away from the institute so it takes time to travel from institute to hostel which is time taking, transportation is provided by the college. Hostels have all the basic amenities but it's satisfactory. The food catering is so bad in terms of taste and quality both, there are restrictions also.

Faculty: The academic section is the only good thing in this college, all professors are highly qualified and the teaching quality is far better than many NIT and newer IITs. The course curriculum is based on the new education policy and it is quite good, practical knowledge using different laboratories is also provided and all labs have all the basic required facilities. Semester exams are not so difficult for the majority of courses. You'll get a backlog only if you're highly irresponsible regarding academics.

Other: I chose this course as it was in my interest. The best thing about this course is that electricity is an elementary necessity and it is the future too. It's very interesting to pursue this course, and a majority of the faculty members here are so good that you'll enjoy reading the course. The major events i.e, cultural and technical fests are organised in the spring and autumn semester respectively. The college has a small but beautiful campus comprising of a few small canteens, also regular sports activities, and many other extracurricular activities related to arts, literature, etc., are organized.

A good place to gain technical knowledge.

Placements: The median package offered is around 5.2 LPA, last year. As the college is located in the central north-eastern region of India, it makes an ideal destination for conducting pool placement drives in the north-eastern region of India. The highest package offered was 17.2 LPA.

Infrastructure: Labs are well-equipped, but the institute is currently run on a temporary campus at Bijni complex, Laitumkhrah. The permanent campus is under construction in Sohra, and it will be completed by 2021. Each classroom has a projector. Hostel rooms are very good.

Faculty: Faculty members are cooperative and are highly qualified. They try to clear every doubt of each student. They provide useful notes. They focus on giving knowledge rather than rote learning. They are regular to the college. They try their best to clear the doubts of students.

Other: The institute conducts a cultural fest called Sishir in February and a technical fest called Cognitia in November.

Overall, our college is good.

Placements: Now our batch is in the 2nd semester only, and we did not have our placements yet. So, we don't know about the placements. My seniors' placement packages were about 5 to 12 lacs per annum. The highest package offered in our college is about 17 lacs per annum and the lowest is about 2 to 3 lacs per annum, and the average package is 5 to 6 LPA.

Infrastructure: Our college campus is not too large, but facilities provided just sufficient to fulfill our needs. Our library is not large, and the Wi-Fi has a good network, and the speed is about 1 to 2 Mbps which is very good. Classrooms are good; they have seating capacity for about 90 students. Sports facilities are not good.

Faculty: The teachers are highly educated, very knowledgeable and helpful. Their method of teaching is very good and effective. The faculty to student ratio is very good. The course curriculum is the best. Our teachers have high knowledge. The interaction between teachers and students is good.

Other: Our cultural fest is called Shisher.
