The key difference is that B.F.Tech (Apparel Production) at LPU tends to lean more toward the technical and manufacturing side of the fashion industry, while fashion designing courses are more about the creative part, the whole design concept, illustration, styling, and yeah trend forecasting. FIT NYC MFA in Fashion Design course is 2 year long. The tuition fee for this course is around INR 23 lakh. Those who want to take admission to this course, the students must have a Bachelor's degree with a GPA of 3.0. TOEFL / IELTS score is required.

In NIFT counselling process, documents of candidates are verified and they are offered a seat for admission in a specific course and college, depending on their NIFT rank. As part of the NIFT counselling process, candidates need to get registered and enter their preferences of academic programme.
