For candidates belonging to the General AI quota, the minimum and maximum GATE scores required were 377 and 579 during Round 1 admission to the M.Tech course. Please note that the cutoff scores vary for different rounds, courses and categories. For GATE, the higher the cutoff scores, the higher the competition and vice versa. Candidates can refer to the table below to view the NIT Puducherry GATE CCMT Round 1 cutoff scores for the students belonging to the General AI quota:

If you belong to the OBC category and want to secure a seat at NIT Nagaland for the M.Tech course, you must aim to target a cutoff score of up to 450 or higher to get admission during the Round 1 cutoff list. Considering the competitive scores, the most competitive M.Tech specialisations during Round 1 admission was Computer Science and Engineering (450) for the OBC category students.

Considering the competitive scores, the top two M.Tech specialisations during Round 1 admission were Computer Science and Engineering  (531) and VLSI Design (459) for the OBC category students.

Considering the competitive scores, the top three M.Tech specialisations during Round 1 admission were Computer Science and Engineering (635) and  Computer Science and Engineering (Analytics) (618) for the OBC category students.

There are more than 290 colleges that offer Construction Engineering courses in India, out of which around 153 colleges accept the GATE exam scores for admission to the M.E./MTech in Construction Engineering course. It is very important for you to get outstanding marks and rank in the exam to get a seat at a top college, including the IITs and NITs.

According to the eligibility criteria of Amal Jyothi MTech, candidates are shortlisted on the basis of academic success and marks scored in the accepted entrance exam. GATE scores are accepted by the university for its M.Tech course. Candidates should ensure that they meet the eligibility requirements before applying. Furthermore, final admission is based on overall performance in academics as well as in the accepted entrance exam. Those who are eligible need to pay the course fee to secure their place for their preferred course specialisations.
