No, you can't take admission in M.Tech at IIIT Delhi without appearing for the GATE exam. The institute offers this two-year full-time programme at the postgraduate level. Aspirants must meet the basic eligibility of passing graduation in the relevant stream from a recognised university in addition to clearing the GATE exam. For seat allotment, candidates have to register for the CCMT counselling.

A GATE score of 448 falls within the average range, potentially allowing admission to NITs and other institutions for M.Tech programs. While it might not be sufficient for highly competitive IITs, it still provides opportunities at various NITs, IIITs, and other institutions, particularly in specialised programs or with a good performance in the CCMT (Centralized Counselling for M.Tech./M.Arch./M.Plan.)

Yes, a candidate can apply for M.Tech at Indian Institute for Aeronautical Engineering and Information Technology (IIAEIT) with a valid score in GATE. The institute accepts GATE scores for M.Tech admission. Except GATE, IIAEIT also accepts AERO-CET scores or any other relevant exams for PG for engineering. Candidates must submit the marksheets for the same.

To be eligible for NIT Jaipur M.Tech admission, candidates must aim to secure a GATE score of 681 or higher to enhance their chances of securing a seat at the institute in any of the specialisations. The minimum GATE score required was 359 as per the 2025 Round 1 cutoff for students belonging to the General AI category. Students with a minimum GATE score are not eligible for admission to other M.Tech specialisations that have higher cutoff scores than the minimum score.
