There are more than 290 colleges that offer Construction Engineering courses in India, out of which around 153 colleges accept the GATE exam scores for admission to the M.E./MTech in Construction Engineering course. The M.Tech in Construction Engg. and Management syllabus includes some core subjects that are compulsory for you to study as they provide an in-depth understanding of the field with some advanced-level concepts. Apart from the core subjects, you get to choose from a variety of elective subject choices as per your interests and understanding, something you want to explore and it aligns with your career goals. So, you do have some scope of customization when it comes to the elective subjects, the rest you need to follow the coursework pattern prescribed by the college.

For getting admission to M.Tech in Construction and Management course, you need to complete your graduation in Construction Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field with at least 55% marks. You also need to give relevant entrance exams like GATE or CEETA PG to grab a seat at a popular college in India.
