The eligibility criteria for PhD Management and Commerce programme offered by School of Business Management NIU is that the candidates must have a master's degree with atleast 55% marks in aggregate and a bachelor degree with atleast 75% marks in aggregate. A relaxation of 5% marks may be given to candidates from SC/ST or EWS category. NIU does not offer any direct admission in the courses candidates have to give an entrance exam conducted by the college.

For admission to the Ph.D. program at the School of Law, Noida International University (NIU), the university accepts applications based on his/her performance in NIU Ph.D. Entrance Exam.
