Life at SNS College. We experience studies with freedom.

Placements: Our college provides decent placements for all students. The placement percentage is above 40% every year. They bring recruiters from both IT fields and also core fields. They also bring top most recruiters from Amazon, Google, Microsoft, Deloitte, etc. The average salary package they provide is around 5 LPA. The highest was 22 LPA last year for the department of electrical and electronic engineering.

Infrastructure: Our college has a wide and large campus with technology, engineering, nursing, allied science, and pharmacy, and also two separate hostels for boys and girls inside the campus. We have lawn spaces to sit, study, and enjoy during break hours. There are 2 libraries, 2 cafeterias, and one large food court. We have a large sports ground for students. Hostel has lots of cupboards and tables for each student separately. Foodcourt provides good food of good quality at a cheaper price. Food in hostel is average.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and encourage us to build our startups and everything. While some are partial towards some particular students which I see as the major disadvantage of faculty members. All faculty members are highly eligible with their degree. Most of them are genuine toward students education and knowledge. Course curriculum is relevant and the practical studies help students to apply them in real life. We have internal exams every 2 months. As we write 3 internal exams the end semester becomes easy.

Other: I chose electronics and communication as I'm very much interested in satellites and research. The best thing about the course is you can apply for any field both hardware and software. More practical studies may help students to improve the course. Our college conducts lots of events both technical and non-technical. They celebrate festivals like Pongal, Christmas, and even Valentine's day is celebrated. Sports day is given equal importance. The favorite spot of most students is the food court where they connect and interact with students of other departments.

Insights of SNSCT - the paradise.

Placements: The average percentage of students getting placed is 85. The highest package offered in my course is 15 LPA at Cadence Technology, and the lowest package offered is 3.5 LPA at System Solutions. The top recruitment company will be ServiceNow. The major roles are Communication Engineer, Chip Design and Management, and VLSI Engineer.

Infrastructure: The basic infrastructure in my department is good, except the Wi-Fi connection is very unstable in most of the places. The quality of my hostel is very good, with all the necessary requirements. But the only drawback is the food in my hostel; it is very poor for the fees they are asking. There is also a small games room with chess and carrom in my hostel.

Faculty: The teachers are experts and well-qualified for their roles, and they are very supportive in all ways and very encouraging. The quality of teaching is very good in my college. The curriculum has the Design Thinking framework, which will adapt to all the departments. The semester exams are quite tough,, but we, the students, will get trained through the curriculum, and most of the students will pass with good marks.

It is one of the best colleges in Tamil Nadu.

Placements: Almost 80% of students got placed in our course. Many regional companies visit our college to recruit students. They offer low salary packages. The average salary package offered ranges between 2 LPA - 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, etc.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is average. Classrooms are not much good. Labs are good. Systems are not much good. The library is good. The food served in the hostel is not good. They provide medical and games facilities.

Faculty: Our teachers are very helpful. Some of them have 4 years of experience in IIT. This course curriculum makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are a bit difficult. The pass percentage is 90%. It is an autonomous college.

Other: I opted for this course because it provides job opportunities in IT and core fields. This course has a good scope for the government sector. They should conduct more practical classes. Many events are held in our college. A scholarship facility is available in our college.

It is a good college for education and sports.

Placements: Around 95% of students get placed in our course. The highest salary package offered in our course is 12 LPA and the lowest salary package is 3.5 LPA. Around 50% of students get internships in our course at DXC and TCS.

Infrastructure: All the facilities are available in our department like a good library, well maintained and neat classrooms, labs with air-conditioners, and good Wi-Fi connections. The hostel serves good food. The canteen serves tasty food.
