Yes, a master's from IGNOU is also eligible for the NET exam provided they have 55% in their aggregate as this is a central government-approved university.
Hope it helps.

Yes, you are eligible. When you have completed your M.A. Through a UGC-approved university then you are eligible to appear for the UGC NET exam. If the university is not recognised by UGC and AICTE then that is a fraud university. Do not enter the college.

Dear aspirant
It's great connecting with you. You can definitely apply for the UGC NET if you have completed the Masters's programme with at least 55% marks. The candidate from the reserved CAT must have at least 50% marks. There is no age limit for the lectureship, but to apply for the JRF Fellowship, the age limit is 30 years. If you found it useful then upvote or thumb up my answer. Good luck.

You should prepare for CSIR NET (now known as NTA Joint CSIR-UGC NET)
UGC NET has no chemical sciences paper
CSIR NET has a Chemical sciences paper
As an M.Sc. Chemistry candidate for NET, you should choose Chemical sciences paper.
