UGC NET Notifications

The NTA will release the UGC NET 2026 notification for the June session on the official portal at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. All the important dates related to the exam like application form start date and all will be mentioned in the notification. It is advised to the candidates to read the notification carefully before applying for the exam.

The NTA is expected to release the UGC NET notification in April 2026. It will be announced in the form of PDF at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The notification or information brochure consists the details about the exam including the registration form, exam duration, pattern, etc.

There is no upper age limit to apply for the Assistant Professor positions. But for the Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), the maximum age limit is 30 years as of June 1 of the exam year. There is also an ahe relaxation provided to the candidates from reserved categories including OBC, SC and ST

Yes. The Commission released the UGC NET notification 2025 for the December session in the form of PDF on October 7 at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The registration also started for the December sesison along with the notification. The last date to apply was November 7, 2025. 

The NTA is expected to release the UGC NET notification in April 2026. It will be announced in the form of PDF at ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Along with it, application link will also be activated.

1. Visit the official website: ugcnet.nta.ac.in

2. Click on the UGC NET Dec Notification 2025 link 

3. The UGC NET notification PDF will appear on the screen 

4. Download the PDF and save it for later use

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the UGC NET notification for the December session tentatively in September 2025. It will be released in the form of a PDF on the official website at ugcnet.nta.ac.in and comprises details of the UGC NET Dec cycle like application dates, syllabus, eligibility, and more.
