If you have secured at least 55% marks in Masters Degree or equivalent examination from universities or institutions recognised by UGC in Humanities (including languages) and Social Science, Computer Science & Applications, Electronic Science etc. are eligible for this. These conditions should be meet to eligible for this exam.

Candidates who want to appear for the UGC NET exam must have a Master's degree or its equivalent from a recognized university with at least 55% marks. However, As per UGC NET Eligibility, the minimum percentage required for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates is 50%. So, these candidates can give UGC Net.

Yes with your B.Sc. in Zoology and M.Sc. in Animal Behaviour you are eligible to appear for the UGC NET exam. The UGC NET exam is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) on behalf of the University Grants Commission (UGC) for determining the eligibility of candidates for the role of Assistant Professor or for the award of Junior Research Fellowship in Indian universities and colleges.
To be eligible for the UGC NET exam you should have completed a master's degree (or its equivalent) with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved categories) in the relevant subject. As you have an M.Sc. in Animal Behaviour you fulfill this

Your eligibility for NET depends on your subject of graduation i.e. in which subject did you do your graduation. If you are from pol. Science then you can surely pursue Masters in Pol Science.
