IELTS Scores

You need to score a minimum of 6 in your IELTS to qualify for any immigration programs to Canada. That is equivalent to CLB (Canadian Language Benchmark) Band 7. IELTS is generally one of the recognised education tests that helps measure the English language proficiency of the applicants. It uses a nine-band scale that identifies the level of hold over the language. IELTS test is of two types : Academics IELTS and General Training IELTS. There are 4 different modules or sections which test the English language proficiency. They are:
Reading
Writing
Listening
Speaking

For all students who wish to undertake the under-graduate and Bachelor course in Canada are:
TOEFL exam can be given by the aspirant and the score should be at least 213, or
IELTS exam test score should be band 6.0
70% or above in Class 12th results Students having qualified 12th/ HSC or 10+2 for study in Canada should also meet the requirements of Canadian Universities. It is stated as 70% marks in class 12this required to get through in the universities in Canada. For pursuing studies in Canada after 12th, the aspirant needs at least 75% marks aggregate with 75% marks in Maths but some universities even accept 60-70% marks. The subjects also play a vital role and as per the marks obtained in the respective subject, admission is approved. The scores of English proficiency test like IELTS and TOEFL scores are also taken into account for pursuing higher studies in Canada.
