Galgotias give admission primarily based on the results of JEE Mains examination but they have certain series reserved for even direct admission after 12th. It is however very difficult to say whether you will get CS branch or not. Normally speaking every student who appears for any entrance exam desires this branch and hence gives as first choice computer sciences engineering. As a result of this the closing ranks and the cutoff are very high. But then if you really want this branch then you can perhaps think of talking to the administration of the university for the admission via management quota. Hello SSD, this question keeps cropping up again and again in different forums and even in the courts of law. However at least till now all the challenges to this rule of 75% in board has with held and continuous to rule the roost. This rule is in vogue for many years now and it was relaxed only during the covid times when normal schooling was disrupted due to the pandemic. There are many cases when students have scored quite handsomely in JEE Mains but they have failed to secure 75% marks in there 12 board and as a result they were unable to compete in JEE Advanced examination. In one of the extreme cases which has come into the LimeLight in last few days one girl had committed suicide since she could not score 75% in her board exam but has scored a percentile of more than 90 in JEE Mains examination. This of course is very tragic case and should be avoided at all cost since not getting admission in IIT is not the end of the world. Best wishes to you.

Compared to the cut off at a percentile of about 37 you have scored more than 54 which is really phenomenal. But I am afraid that you are ranking at about 13000 in your category may not fetch you admission in the top NITs. However, there is a great possibility of you getting the seat in one of the newly opened institutions and I would advise you to go for this admission since after 4 years you will definitely get placed if you complete your education from these institutes.
