A university only to get a degree, nothing else.

Placements: The percentage of students getting placed is very low (less than 10%). The highest package offered is around 8 lacs, while the lowest stands around 2–2.5 lacs. average salary is around 3.5–4 lacs. Top recruiting companies are basically new start-ups with reputed companies like TCS, Cognizant, Wipro, etc. Internship opportunities are also not that great, as students have to apply off-campus for them. The roles offered are basically for SDEs, Web developers, etc.

Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is great, with classrooms well built with smartboards, Wi-Fi facilities, different labs and libraries. Hostels are great too, with average food quality, Wi-Fi and generator facilities. It also has sports equipment.

Faculty: Teachers were helpful, excluding one or two who were adamant about their own decisions. They were knowledgeable and well qualified, too. Teaching quality was average. The course curriculum was relevant but it lacks practical knowledge and makes students less prepared for industries. Semester exams were stressful because of their vast syllabus and lack of preparation time. Pass percentage is also not that great.

Other: The course is value for money, as the feels is less as compared to others. It is main reason to choose this course. Other best things includes good campus. It can be improved by providing more assistance to the students. The monopoly of administration should be ended. It has a good campus life with events and festivals like Auskriti, Auslympics, Gamusa, etc. The campus has rich natural beauty.

Well-qualified faculty, relevant curriculum, and strong infrastructure at the University.

Placements: Approximately 30-40% of the students get placed each year across various courses. The highest package offered in 2023 was around INR 12 LPA. The lowest packages was INR 3-4 LPA and the average package was INR 3.5-5 LPA. Top recruiters include Capgemini, TCS, Wipro, ITC Infotech, Future Market Insight, Deloitte, etc. Internships are available for specific percentage of students.

Infrastructure: The university provides campus wi-fi connectivity. There are well-maintained laboratories for various departments. Tye classrooms are designed to facilitate modern teaching methods often equipped with projectors and audio-visual aids. The institution includes many hostels for males and girls. The food quality in the hostel mess and the canteen is typically good.

Faculty: The teachers at the Assam University are generally considered helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Many faculty members have advanced degrees and significant experience in their fields. The semester exams are moderately challenging and designed to test comprehension and application of the coursework.

If you don't have a better option, you can come to AUS.

Placements: Placement is below average at Assam University. Every year, only a few students get placement. About 30–50% of students got placement. The average package is about INR 5 LPA. The highest package from Computer Science Engineering is INR 12LPA. The lowest package from CSE is INR 3 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure at Assam University is above average. It is about a 600-acre campus. There is a football field near the computer science, engineering, and boys hostels. Also, there is a basketball field. A badminton court and an indoor stadium with proper facilities are there. There is a cafeteria in AUS, which is above average.

Faculty: Faculty members are really very good. Some of them are very helpful, and some of them are average. The curriculum is below average because they are teaching the old syllabus. I think this is outdated, and they should update the syllabus. From batches 23–26, there is no midterm exam which is very disappointing for students.

Come here and enjoy university life.

Placements: Placement is one the most disadvantages of the department. There is a very less number of company come and some student got placed with very low package. The highest on campus package is 9 LPA as I know. Only 50 percent student got placed. All clubs are not working properly.

Infrastructure: Course is average. In second semester, they start c programming language. DSA start in 2nd year. Class time table did not maintain properly. There is single, double and triple B.Ed available in hostel. But single room is only for senior and scholars.

Faculty: Faculty is average. In first year two semester under applied Science and humanities. There is some club, but these are exist only in WhatsApp group. Exam are average like other collahes. If you failed in internal exam, you are not allow to fill end semester form.

Our college provides good placements.

Placements: Placements are above average in our college. Our college has a placement cell that coordinates placements. The highest salary package offered in our college by Amazon is 16 LPA. The average salary package offered for the CSE course is 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. More than 30 companies visit our college every year. The number of companies will increase exponentially. Almost 85% of students got placed in our course.

Infrastructure: There are 11 hostels in our college of which 6 are girls' hostels, and 5 are boys' hostels. They have a good environment. The food served in the hostel is good. The hostel has Wi-Fi. The Wi-Fi speed is good in our college. The campus is beautiful with a natural environment.

Faculty: Faculty members are good and well-trained in our college. Our CSE department teachers have a good experience in their careers. Our college schedule is good, so you can work on your self-development. Exams are held in some months. There are no mid-semester exams in our college, so students can get more time to learn skills.
