Assam University provides a 2-year full-time Master of Business Administration (MBA) course. To be eligible for The Bachelor of Pharmacy programme candidates must have completed their Class 12 with PCM/ PCB stream with a minimum aggregate of 50%. The course is offered for four years and divided into eight semesters. The selection process for the course is based on candidates' scores in CUET UG. Additionally, the students who got good scores in Class 12 Science subjects can get admission through the university's merit. 

Assam University accepts the scores of CUET-UG scores for admission to the BPharm course. Moreover, before appearing in the entrance exam candidates must complete their Class 12 from the Science stream including both PCB/ PCM. Additionally, they must have at least an aggregate of 50%. Assam CEE 2024 exam date has been announced. The authorities conducted Assam CEE offline i.e., as a pen-and-paper-based test on June 2, 2024 (11 AM to 2 PM). As per the official pattern, the candidates had to answer 120 objective multiple-choice questions from Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. No extra time was provided to the candidates. The official notification regarding the Assam CEE 2024 dates is now available for admission to BTech course at Assam University. 

The last year 2022 cutoff ranks for B.Tech. in Agricultural Engineering at Assam University, Silchar other than General category are - 522066 for OBC, 417590 for SC, 461204 for ST, 541050 for EWS. While the admissions are based on the scores/rank obtained in JEE exam, the last cut offs also change a lot depending on All India quota or Home State. It also varies if the applicant is a female.

CUET-UG is a national-level entrance exam conducted by NTA whose score card/ rank helps in taking admission in all major UG courses besides BTech. Candidates willing to take admission in BTech must take the JEE-Main exam, which is also a national-level entrance exam but mainly for admission to BE/ BTech in various government and private universities and colleges.

Also, Assam University accepts admission in its BTech course based on the scorecard/ rank of JEE-Main. For lateral entry to BTech, the candidate needs to take Departmental entrance exam which is conducted by Assam University.

Candidates must prepare well for the examination described above because only a good rank above the closing rank specified in the merit list released by Assam University will make the applicant eligible for further counselling rounds followed by document verification and fee payment.
