Good campus and nice faculty members.
Placements: I am from the 2023 batch. About 50 seats are available in B.Pharma every year. 70-80% packages are offered by top recruiting companies like Cipla, Sun Pharma, Dabur, etc. Top roles offered by this are pharmacovigilance, quality control, and quality assurance.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of classroom and hostel are quite good. Labs are clean and neat. Wi-Fi is available 24 hours. Library is also beneficial to the students. It closes at 8:00 PM everyday. The mess food of the hostel is average. Game facilities are moving into the full wing.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They are qualified with high-quality degrees. They are very knowledgeable Teachers with very good teaching experience. All teachers are very understanding. The semester exams are a little tough but easy for well-mannered students.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to become a pharmacist and serve the nation. The best thing about this course is that it has logical and practical work related to a daily basis. I don't want to improve anything, it has already done its best. The events are very beneficial for relieving stress.

I'm absolutely dissatisfied because of mess food, and they do not maintain hygiene.
Placements: There are many companies that are offered in my course. Some are HP, NRL, Refinery, etc. There are 80% of students who are placed in our college. The highest package is 2 LPA, and the lowest Rs. 70,000 package offered in my course. Tata and a few international companies also give us opportunities.
Infrastructure: A big library is available on our campus that provides us with all the books and course details. The library has Wi-Fi facilities. The hostel gives us good facilities, but the hostel's mess food quality is so bad.
Faculty: Teachers are so helpful, they gave us so many advice and they are so knowledgeable and their qualification are higher. Our institute can give us knowledge and make ready to go industry without any problem No difficult are the semester exams in our college. If students read continuously then they are easily pass in exams.
Other: I chose this course because I love Electrical Engineering. The best thing about my course is that it has current related works, circuits, microprocessors, etc. The teaching quality is a little bit improved, and the placements are so limited. Events are organized by students and faculty members together. Scholarships are provided to us in every semester.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2026
Offered by Gurucharan College

Value for money and totally worth it.
Placements: Approximately 300 students are there in my course of B.Com. There are no placements after the completion of the course i.e., after graduation. There is also a very less percentage of chance of getting an internship while the course is going on. No companies recruit from our college.
Infrastructure: There is no Wi-Fi available for the students on campus. There is a library on campus where students can read the books only if they have a valid library card which is generated during the admission. There is also a canteen in the college.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful and their teaching skills are also very great. Some of the teachers are not up to the mark and fail teaching skills. They are not able to deliver the point to the students effectively and efficiently. Non-teaching staffs are really nice.

Really great experience in my M.Com journey. Enjoyed. - Hitabrata (2023-25)
Placements: There were many packages offered ranging from 1.5 LPA to 4 LPA, and there were many placements in this range. I don't really know anyone from my batch who accepted these placements, as they want to pursue their journey into academics or other ventures. The placement cell in this university is fairly good, but I wouldn't recommend it too much.
Infrastructure: Excellent infrastructure for studying and growth. One of the largest libraries filled with knowledge. There are a total of 10-15 hostels. Wi-Fi is available throughout the University campus, but the speed is slow in certain areas as the thick walls and weather conditions affect the speed.
Faculty: Exams were conducted in a timely manner, but in our case, even semester exams were a bit rushed due to the normalization that needed to be done to set the academic calendar back to its former ways as it was before the pandemic. So, in this regard, it was not really a great experience.

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) - Batch of 2027

2Placements4Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
The college is good for getting a degree and experience.
Placements: 50 students can apply for 1st semester. In a single academic year, 200 students study this course. Actually, companies don't come to offer internships in our university so packages are not offered by them. The company which comes tells us to buy their internship course and after that who knows they will pay or not. Students need to do a compulsory internship after 6th semester in any company. We have to pay for needs like traveling feels, food, etc. We are not offered a stipend during the internship period.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our department is average. Lights and fans are in working condition. There is an inverter facility so students don't face any electricity-related issues. There is also a library for students which has AC so that students can study well. Labs are good but some equipment is old and there is less equipment. Classroom conditions are good. Desks and benches are okay. Hostels have good infrastructure and good food with a Wi-Fi facility. It offers food in the morning and night. Afternoon meal is not provided in the hostel. Medical facilities are also good.
Faculty: Teachers in our department are very good at teaching. They have good qualifications. Some teachers also publish their own books related to pharmacy. The teaching quality is good. Teachers use projectors to teach us. They use various PPTs to make us understand the topic better. Students if they study well and work hard then they can easily become industry-ready. Semester exams are not very difficult, and teachers usually set questions from topics they teach in class. Also few questions are tricky.
Other: The best thing about this course is we get to learn new things about drugs and various diseases. We also get a pharmacy license after completion of the course. The infrastructure of classes could have been better also if they installed AC in every classroom, and lab equipment could have been better. Many events and concerts take place in our university. Last time, Ash King and Madhumati Bagchi are invited to concerts. M-sonic band was invited for DJ night. Prom nights and various sports events also take place.

Review of Gurucharan College.
Placements: This college does not offer any internships and placements. We have to seek jobs by applying to various companies ourselves. I am from the statistics department and have a wish to be a data scientist, which will later be beneficial for the upcoming AI generation.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is decent. Other than the washroom facilities, females do not have many facilities for it. There are separate hostels for boys and girls. The fee for the hostel is also not that high. The library is also a decent place where one will not be disturbed while studying.
Faculty: Faculty members are good in nature. They put efforts into all students and guide us for a better future. Exams are not that hard, and it is quite easy for those who attend the classes regularly. All the things which are taught are asked in the examinations so one can easily pass the examinations.
Other: I chose this course because it will be a demanding career in the future. It also makes us learn about data handling, etc. It also gives knowledge about machine learning.
