An IELTS score 8.5 is generally considered to be very god and equals 89-90 marks on the PTE test. However, the official sources clearly warns against using these alignments for official or application purposes as the scores may vary due to several different reasons as measurement error.

If you think that your current scores are not better than the last scores on teh PTE test, then, you can choose to share your previous scores with the universities, within the 2 years of time after those scores have been allotted to you.

Once your PTE scores get expired (after 2 years of the release of scores), you will not be able to use them.

After you share your scores with the universities abroad, it will take around 48 hours for the universities to be able to see those scores. Note that the universities will only be able to see the scores that you have shared and no previous scores will be shared with them.

You can get admitted into some of the top Australian universities with a very good score of 76 in PTE. Courses you can think of applying for are Master of Engineering or MBA from the University of Melbourne or the University of Sydney for Master in Data Science. Other options include Monash University for Master of Business Administration and University of Queensland for Master of Finance. These programs usually demand a PTE score of 65 to 79. It goes well with your score and increases your chances of admission.

To do a "Repeat Sentence" in PTE, listen carefully to the spoken sentence, then immediately repeat it back exactly as you heard it, focusing on maintaining the same rhythm, intonation, and pronunciation as the speaker, without adding or changing any words; essentially, just mimicking the audio as closely as possible once it finishes playing.

For the PTE Repeat Sentence task, the ideal speech rate is considered to be a natural, steady pace that closely mirrors the original audio, avoiding both speaking too quickly (which can lead to errors) and too slowly (which may impact fluency).
