Yenepoya Dental College and Hospital may follow a seat reservation policy based on the guidelines prescribed by the state or the central government. Such guidelines usually favour the candidates belonging to the socially or economically disadvantaged sections of the society or the state. Candidates with a state domicile may also be benefited by reservation policies. However, as of now, there is no official confirmation regarding the seat reservation policy followed by the college. Candidates interested in getting precise information must contact the college's admission office.

Yenepoya Dental College has a total of 20 seats for the BSc programme. The college offers only one specialisation under its BSc course, i.e. Dental Technology. Admission against these seats is based on the applicants' merit in the last qualifying exam. The college also may follow the seat reservation policy prescribed by the state government. Entrance examination is not mandatory for having the admission into the KSG College of Arts and Science to pursue B.Sc. Psychology.
To be eligible for the admission, the candidate must have passed Class 12 from a recognised board/council with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST candidates). There is no necessity for students to appear for any national level or state level entrance examination; however students have to do well in their higher secondary examinations because competition is high for the admission. To determine more experienced requirements, the college admission office should be reached.

The minimum eligibility requirement for B.Sc. Electronics & Communication Systems at KSG College of Arts and Science is as follows:
- Educational Qualification: A candidate should have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) or equivalent examination in any recognised board.
- Mandatory Subjects: Candidate must have passed the Class 12 examination in Physics Mathematics and either Chemistry or Computer Science.
- Minimum Marks: It is mandatory to score minimum aggregate marks as follows: Minimum 50% of the aggregate of the qualifying examination for General Category students. Though, 5% relaxation will be given to the SC/ST candidates.
