AIIMS BSc Nursing 2025: Registration Last Date (May 7), Dates, Admit Card, Syllabus, Pattern, Result, Cutoff

AIIMS nursing entrance is conducted for admission to AIIMS BSc (hons). A seperate entrance exam is conducted for admission to AIIMS Nursing (Post Basic) programme. In 2025, AIIMS AIIMS BSc (hons) will be held on June 1, 2025, and AIIMS Nursing (Post Basic) entrance is scheduled for June 21, 2025. Eligibilty Criteria for AIIMS BSc (Hons)

• It is mandatory to clear or have passed Class 12 exams or equivalent exams from a recognised board with Physics Chemistry Biology and English subjects.
• Candidate must have secured a minimum of 55 per cent marks in aggregate in class 12.
• SC/ST category candidates should have secured 50 per cent in aggregate.

Eligibilty Criteria for AIIMS BSc (Post basic)

• To appear in the BSc (Post basic) nursing exam, candidates possessing a Diploma in GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) from any Indian Nursing Council recognised institution are eligible to apply.
• In addition, the applicant must have registered themselves as nurses or midwives with the State Nursing Council.
• A mandatory six months of training as a registered nurse. 

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) conduct a seperate entrance exam for admission to the AIIMS BSc nursing programme. This score is accepted for admission to all 20 AIIMS campuses in India. All nursing aspirants who wish to seek admission to the AIIMS BSc nursing and Post BSc nursing exam will mandatorily have to appear for the AIIMS BSc nursing entrance exam.

All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi conducts AIIMS BSc (Hons) nursing, BSc (Post-Basic) nursing and BSc (Paramedical) entrance exam annually to grant admission to all AIIMS campuses offering nursing course. The entrance exam is generally conducted in the month of May every year. The conducting body uses a two-stage method for registration to BSc nursing programme. The first is through the PAAR (Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration) system, a new AIIMS method. The second is through basic registration, followed by the Generation of Code and Final Registration. 

AIIMS Delhi, the official Bsc nursing entrance exam conducting body does not provide any syllabus for the entrance exam. The AIIMS BSc nursing syllabus is based on the couse curriculum of class 11 and class 12. AIIMS Nursing score will be based on the total marks scored by the candidate across all the sections. There are four sections Physics (30 marks), Chemistry (30 marks), Biology (30 marks) PCB, General knowledge (10 marks) for the BSc (Hons) Nursing course. While BSc (Post-Basic) Nursing has sections such as Fundamentals of Nursing, Medical-Surgical Nursing including Anatomy, Physiology & Pharmacology, Obstetrics Nursing and Midwifery, Pediatric Nursing, Community Health Nursing, Psychiatric Nursing and Professional Trends in Nursing.

The candidates who secure the qualifying marks as per the cutoff will be considered qualified. The qualifying status of the candidates is mentioned on the AIIMS Nursing 2025 result.

The registration window for AIIMS Bsc Nursing and post-basic exam started on April 8, 2025. Candidates will be given more than 30 days to participate in the basic and final registration process. 

The authorities will releasd a notice which will mention the deadline for the AIIMS BSc registration porcess. Applicants will be allowed to do the basic registration till May 7, 2025. While the generation of code and final registration started on April 17, 2025. The last date for submission of AIIMS nursing application form is May 15, 2025. 

The application fee for the AIIMS Nursing exam is INR 2,000 for general and OBC categories and INR 1,600 for SC/ST category candidates. The application fee can be paid online. Applicants should note that the first stage which is the basic registration stage has no application fee. The final registration stage requires the candidate to pay a sum of non-refundable and non-transferable amounts. Candidates whose application gets accepted at the time of basic registration are allowed to proceed to final registration.

AIIMS BSc Nursing 2025 application process will be exercised completely online. No offline application forms will be available at any AIIMS campus or bank branches. Even though NEET UG scores are accepted for BSc Nursing (H), for admission to AIIMS Nursing courses, candidates must attempt and qualify for AIIMS BSc Nursing entrance exam. AIIMS Delhi has a separate entrance exam that grants admission to nursing and paramedical courses on the basis of the scores in written exam. Yes. There will be negative marking in the AIIMS Nursing 2025 exam. For every correct answer the candidate will get 1 mark and for every wrong response -1/3 mark will be deducted. There will be 100 questions in the BSc Nursing question paper and 90 questions in the Post Basic BSc Nursing question paper.

AIIMS Nursing exam for the BSc Nursing programme will be a 120-minute long exam and the Post Basic Nursing exam will be 90 minutes long. No extra time will be given to the candidates under any circumstances. Candidates will only be able to leave the examination hall once the exam time is over. The AIIMS BSc (H) Nursing Admit card and BSc (Post-basic) admit card will be released by AIIMS Delhi in the last week of May 2025. It will be available for download from the official AIIMS nursing website, bsccourses.aiimsexams.ac.in. The admit card will be issued in the form of a PDF file. AIIMS nursing admit card is a mandatory document required at the test centre.

Candidates must carry the hard-copy of the AIIMS Nursing admit card for the purpose of verification. A valid and current identity proof from among Aadhar card, Voter ID, Passport, Driving License, Ration Card, or College ID was also required at the test centre for entry.

The AIIMS Nursing 2025 will be conducted in selected cities of regional centres as decided by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. AIIMS Nursing 2025 result/scorecard will comprise details such as the candidate's name, roll number, date of birth, parent’s name, category, nationality, marks secured in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics, total marks obtained, All India Rank (AIR), category rank, AIIMS Nursing 2025 cutoff score.

AIIMS Nursing has its own marking scheme which helps the candidates calculate their estimated score. For every correct answer the candidates will be awarded 1 mark and for every incorrect response -1/3 mark will be deducted. No mark will be deducted for the unattempted questions.

AIIMS Nursing result for B.Sc. (Hons) will be announced by AIIMS Delhi. Candidates will be able to check the rank list being published on the official website. Before the result declaration, AIIMS releases answer key for the nursing entrance exam. Candidates get the time to cross-check the answers from the provisional answer sheet. AIIMS Delhi also gives the chance to raise objection against the answers selected by the exam committee. Post this exercise, final answer sheet will be released along with the result at the official AIIMS Nursing exam website.

AIIMS typically releases only one cut-off score for the B.Sc. Nursing program. A merit list is created based on the exam (and possibly interview) results. The AIIMS Delhi will start the open round counselling registration in the second week of September 2025. After the registeration concludes, authorities will release the seat allotment result of AIIMS BSc Nursing open round counselling in online mode on the official website. 

The first round of AIIMS BSc Nursing (H) counselling is expected to begin from the first week of July 2025. Applicants can register till July 2025. The seat allocation result for AIIMS BSc Nursing will be released in July 2025.
