AIIMS released a notice for revising the dates of basic registration, generation of code, final registration, and status of application for AIIMS BSc Nursing & AIIMS BSc Nursing (Post Basic). Applicants could do basic registration till April 26, 2024, up to 5 P.M.    

Candidates whose basic application forms were accepted could generate the code and proceed for AIIMS nursing final registration till April 30, 2024, up to 5 P.M. at the official website, ugcourses.aiimsexams.ac.in.

Candidates were allowed to fill the AIIMS BSc nursing application form online at the AIIMS nursing admission portal which was available from March 5, 2024 for the basic registration.

Earlier AIIMS BSc Nursing final application process 2024 started on March 12, 2024. The AIIMS BSc Nursing 2024 Registration process for the exam is managed and organised online. AIIMS will conduct AIIMS BSc Nursing (Hons.) on June 8 and 9, 2024 and BSc (post basic) exam on July 6, 2024 in online mode. 

The exam conducting body, AIIMS Delhi, will release the admit card online and later will announce the AIIMS BSc nursing exam result after the completion of the exam. AIIMS Delhi conducts AIIMS Nursing exam in computer-based mode at several test centres in multiple cities nationwide. AIIMS BSc nursing exam and BSc Nursing (Post Basic) exam are organised and conducted by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Delhi. Q:   When will AIIMS BSc Nursing be conducted?

A:

The AIIMS Bsc Nursing 2024 exam dates have been changed by AIIMS Delhi for the academic year 2024-25.

The AIIMS Bsc Nursing (hons.) and AIIMS Bsc Nursing (post-basic) exam will be conducted on June 8 & 9, 2024 and July 6, 2024 respectively in computer-based format at designated test centres in India. The AIIMS BSc nursing entrance exam is mandatory for admission to BSc nursing programe offered by AIIMS institutes across India. 

 

Q:   Does the entrance exam for B.Sc (Post-Basic) Nursing and B.Sc (Hons.) held separately?

A:

Yes, AIIMS conducts both exams separately. Both the exams are generally conducted in a single day and in a single slot window. The registration for both the exam are open and available at the official website, ugcourses.aiimsexams.ac.in, by AIIMS Delhi. The final registration for both the exam have begun from March 12, 2024. The application process for both the exam is same however as per the exam schedule shared by AIIMS Delhi, both the exams will be conducted on separate days.

 

Q:   Does AIIMS Delhi issues rank card to announce BSc nursing result?

A:

No, AIIMS Delhi releases the BSc nursing result in the form of merit list. It can be downloaded from the official website, aiimsexams.ac.in. The exam conducting body releases a PDF which states about the counselling dates and process to be followed by the shortlisted candidates. 

 

Q:   Is AIIMS BSc Nursing 2024 Registration extended?

A:

Yes, the authorities have released a notice which mentions the extended deadline about the AIIMS BSc registration porcess. Applicants can now do basic registration till Apri 26, 2024

While the generation of code and final registration can be done till April 30, 2024 (up to 5 PM).  The last date for submission of required documents is May 13, 2024

 

About AIIMS Nursing (BSc) 2024 Exam

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, Nursing programmes include BSc (Hons.) Nursing and BSc Nursing (Post-Basic). The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Hons) Nursing programme lasts four years, whereas the Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Post-Basic) Nursing degree lasts two years. To pursue BSc (Hons.) Q:   Who is eligible to apply for AIIMS Nursing 2024 BSc Nursing Course?

A:
Candidates who have cleared Class 12 exams or equivalent exams from a recognised board with Physics Chemistry Biology and English subjects and have secured a minimum of 55 per cent marks in aggregate in class 12 and SC/ST category candidates should have secured 50 per cent in aggregate. For B.Sc. (Post basic) nursing, candidates possessing a Diploma in GNM (General Nursing and Midwifery) from any Indian Nursing Council recognised institution are eligible to apply.

Q:   What is the last date to apply for the AIIMS Nursing exam (basic registration)?

A:

Candidates can apply (basic registration) for the AIIMS B.Sc. Nursing, Post-basic B.Sc. Nursing and Paramedical nursing course as per the schedule announced by AIIMS Delhi. AIIMS Delhi released an official notification providing complete details about the last date and exam schedule. The registration window is open from March 5 to April 4, 2024. During this window candidates can do basic registration and then proceed for final registration if the application form gets accepted. 

 

Q:   What documents are required to submit the AIIMS Nursing application?

A:
Self-attested copy of candidate's photograph, signature, passing certificates of the qualifying exam, mark sheet of a qualifying exam, proof of age Certificate category Certificate (if any). It is important to provide true and valid information at the time of registration. In case any document is found to be incorrect or invalid, it will lead to cancellation of admission by the exam conducting authorities.
 

Q:   When will the AIIMS BSc (Hons) Nursing 2024 admit card will be released?

A:

The AIIMS B.Sc. (H) Nursing Admit card and B.Sc. (Post-basic) admit card will be released by AIIMS Delhi. It will be available for download from the official AIIMS nursing website,bsccourses.aiimsexams.ac.in. The admit card will be issued in the form of a PDF file. AIIMS nursing admit card is a mandatory document required at the test centre. Candidates must carry the hard-copy of the AIIMS Nursing admit card for the purpose of verification. A valid and current identity proof from among Aadhar card, Voter ID, Passport, Driving License, Ration Card, or College ID is also required at the test centre for entry.

 

AIIMS Nursing 2024 for BSc Admission Process

Admissions to AIIMS BSc Nursing programmes involve a set of procedures. From registration to release of admit card/hall ticket, to appearing for the national level entrance exam, and then attending the counselling rounds post the declaration of the result. Below is a brief description of the admission process:

Step 1: AIIMS Nursing for BSc Registration 2024 

To start the admission process, first, candidates have to register themselves. AIIMS Nursing 2024 for BSc admission involves a two-step registration/application process:

  • Basic Registration
  • Final Registration

Step 2: Download AIIMS BSc Nursing 2024 Admit Card

Candidates will have to download the AIIMS BSc Nursing 2024 admit card, which will be available online. It is mandatory to carry a hard copy of the AIIMS nursing admit card on the day of the examination to access entry into the examination hall. The AIIMS BSc Nursing 2024 admit card will be accessible by providing the registration ID and password. It will be mandatory to carry the AIIMS nursing admit card to the examination hall.  

Step 3: Appear for AIIMS Nursing for the BSc entrance exam

AIIMS Delhi conducts the national-level entrance exam. Candidates were able to appear for the AIIMS BSc Nursing exam seeking admission into the BSc Nursing programme offered by the AIIMS institutes across India. AIIMS conducted BSc (Hons) Nursing and BSc (Post-Basic) Nursing entrance exams separately tentatively in June 2024. 

Step 4: Check AIIMS BSc Nursing 2024 Result

AIIMS BSc Nursing 2024 result will be declared on the official website of AIIMS via online mode. Candidates had to log in to their accounts using their credentials to access their results and were advised to take a printout of the same during the counselling and other processes. 

Step 5: Appear for AIIMS Nursing 2024 for BSc Counselling

Candidates whose names appear on the merit list will be invited for counselling and the seat allocation process via online mode. Based on the percentile rank and the score, the candidates will be granted admission to their choice of AIIMS institute. The BSc (Post-Basic) Nursing candidates will have to appear for the Personal Interview/Assessment scheme through video conferencing mode (online mode) or personally by visiting the allotted venue. 

Step 6: Fee and document submission to confirm admission

After the successful allotment of the seats and the institute, candidates have to submit the required fees (admission and tuition fee) along with the pre-requisite documents and undertakings. The candidates will be provided with the dates to attend the classes after completing the formalities.

AIIMS Nursing 2024 for BSc Application Form

AIIMS Nursing registration for BSc Hons and Post Basic was started on March 5, 2024. Candidates whose registration requests were accepted will be eligible to appear for the AIIMS BSc nursing exam. AIIMS registration was conducted in two stages and the final registration process (fee payment and choice of the city). Notably, only candidates who will able to Generate a Code for Final Registration were allowed to proceed with the fee payment and choose the city as their exam centre. AIIMS BSc Nursing 2024 application form-filling process was divided into two stages. The process is based on the Prospective Applicants Advanced Registration (PAAR) system, newly introduced by AIIMS.

Both stages are equally essential, and candidates should not miss out on any of the two stages. The two stages are:

  • Stage 1: Basic Registration
  • Stage 2: Final Registration

Stage 1: Basic Registration

The Basic Registration stage requires candidates to provide personal information such as their name, date of birth, email address (for communication purposes), mobile number (to send information and codes via SMS), as well as a scanned passport-size photo and a scanned image of their signature and thumb impression. Candidates will receive a registration ID and password after submitting their information. This will complete the Basic Registration procedure. It is recommended that candidates retain their registration ID and password safe for future usage.

Stage 2: Final Registration

Candidates are required to generate a code and pay the application cost after successfully submitting and accepting the Basic Registration form. Without the code, candidates will not be allowed to complete the final registration process. During the final registration step, candidates are mandated to supply their academic information and select a city as the exam centre. AIIMS Nursing 2024 (BSc) application fee can be paid online using a Debit/Credit card or Net banking.

Stage 2: Personal Interview/Assessment Scheme

Candidates who will make it to the merit list based on the written exam will be called for the personal interview/assessment round. The second stage will tentatively have a weightage of 30 marks. Further, the final merit list will be published on the website. A candidate's fate is decided based on their performance in both stages. Almost three times more candidates will be invited for the interview than the actual number of available seats. The assessment process will count the following criteria:

  • Past academic record in the Higher Secondary or class 12 or equivalent examination
  • Past academic record in the Nursing examination
  • Performance as a Staff Nurse

Q:   I have qualified for the NEET UG. Do I have to appear separately for AIIMS nursing exam?

A:
Even though NEET UG scores are accepted for B.Sc. Nursing (H), for admission to AIIMS Nursing courses, candidates must attempt and qualify for AIIMS B.Sc. Nursing entrance exam. AIIMS Delhi has a separate entrance exam that grants admission to nursing and paramedical courses on the basis of the scores in written exam. Therefore, it is mandatory eligibility condition for admission in AIIMS institutes located in Delhi, Bhubaneswar and Rishikesh.
 

AIIMS BSc Nursing Admit Card 2024

AIIMS BSc Nursing 2024 admit card will be released by AIIMS Delhi at the official website of the AIIMS exams, aiimsexams.ac.in. The AIIMS BSc Nursing admit card is scheduled to be released on June 1, and AIIMS BSc Nursing Post Basic admit card on June 29, 2024, tentatively. 

An applicant is required to login to the 'Final Registration' login window to download the AIIMS nursing 2024 admit card provided on the 'Login Page'.

The AIIMS nursing admit card is a mandatory document that grants access to the examination hall. Without presenting the admit card at the test centre, entry for the candidates is prohibited. AIIMS Nursing admit card carries important information such as the candidate's name, DOB, centre details (address and reporting time), examination code and name, and important guidelines to follow in the exam.  

Q:   Who decides the selected cities of regional centres for AIIMS Nursing 2024?

A:

The AIIMS Nursing 2024 will be conducted in selected cities of regional centres as decided by the All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. The list of test cities will be presented to the candidates at the time of filling the AIIMS Nursing application form. Candidates will have to choose their preferred test city on the basis of first come first serve basis. Last year, AIIMS Nursing was conducted in 100+ test cities across India.

 

AIIMS Nursing 2024 (BSc) Result

The AIIMS Nursing 2024 Result for the BSc Hons will be published online. Last year, the AIIMS BSc nursing result was declared on June 28 in online mode. The list of applicants who qualified for the first phase of online seat allocation will be published on the official website of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). The result carries details such as the candidate's roll number and overall rank. After the declaration of the result, AIIMS BSc will release the final result based on the interview conducted for the students on the merit list. The result will be made available in the form of a Rank list on the official website in PDF format

Q:   When will the Final Result for the AIIMS Nursing 2024 BSc (Post-Basic) and BSc (Hons) be announced?

A:

AIIMS Nursing result for B.Sc. (Hons) will be announced by AIIMS Delhi. Candidates will be able to check the rank list being published on the official website. Before the result declaration, AIIMS releases answer key for the nursing entrance exam. Candidates get the time to cross-check the answers from the provisional answer sheet. AIIMS Delhi also gives the chance to raise objection against the answers selected by the exam committee. Post this exercise, final answer sheet will be released along with the result at the official AIIMS Nursing exam website. 

 

AIIMS BSc Nursing Counselling 2024

All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi releases AIIMS BSc Nursing counselling 2024 for Hons programme guidelines. A merit list has been published online for the candidates to check their final results. Candidates clearing the cutoff score released by AIIMS Delhi will be called to participate in the counselling.

The AIIMS Nursing 2024 counselling process will be carried out in online mode. The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in the entrance exam. On the basis of the performance of the candidates, a merit list will be released. The candidate scoring the highest percentile will be shortlisted accordingly and the list of selected candidates will be published on the official website of the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS). Selected candidates will have to report online on the day of counselling.
