Candidates getting equal marks in both stages combined will result in a tie. Candidates then will be shortlisted or ranked by using the tie-breaker. Below are the tie-breaker criteria:

  • In case of Para-Medical courses, a candidate who has scored higher marks in the Biology or Mathematics exam will be given a higher rank
  • The candidates having higher marks in Chemistry in the entrance will be given priority if the tie still persists
  • The candidate who has secured higher marks in Physics in the entrance will be given priority if the tie still exists
  • At last, the priority will be given to the candidate who is senior by age
