I am satisfied with the faculty members and placements.

Placements: Around 70-80% of students got placements in recent years. The highest package in this course is approximately 36 LPA, average package is around 15 LPA - 17 LPA, and the lowest package is below 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Accenture, TCS, BNY Mellon, Infosys, etc. Top roles offered are embedded system engineer, hardware design engineer, control system engineer, etc.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities are too good. Campus is spread across 504 acres, which is near the Western Ghats. Wi-Fi and classrooms are best. In every class, projector is available, and well-stocked library is present on campus. Food quality is good, and separate hostels are available on the campus.

Faculty: Highly qualified faculty members are available, and mentorships are available in which every student is assigned a faculty advisor. Exams are semester-based and mixture of tests, labs, and assignments. Semester exams are little tough, and in every subject 30% marks are required for passing.

Overall, it is the best institute for the B.Tech in Electrical Engineering course.

Placements: Recruitment at the college is good. This year, our seniors are the first batch to sit through the placements. Top companies like ABB, BHEL, NTPC, etc., visit the university. 90% of the students get an internship from our college. The salary range offered is Rs 24,000 to Rs. 30,000. Approximately, 95% of the students are placed. Top roles offered are electrical engineer, power systems engineer, and so on.

Infrastructure: It's nice that each branch has its own building and labs. The college and hostels offer Wi-Fi. The digital screens are installed in the projector classrooms. The college contains a cricket pitch, followed by a badminton pitch and a basketball court. On campus, you can play indoor games like TT, chess, carrom, and more.

Faculty: The college employs some of the greatest teachers, who are extremely helpful and friendly with students. In any given year, each department has approximately 30 teachers for 70 pupils. Almost all departments have five head teachers. The semester examination is simple, and the pass rate is greater than 93%.

Recommended to join some other departments.

Placements: CSG talents, Navartis, Goodwin recruiting, and Davron exclusively sourcing talents from civil engineering. They would hire 22 to 30% of students randomly. Top recruiters were paid off yearly for smooth running of the drive process. Also, placement team arranged skill development class.

Infrastructure: Learners from multiple regions of the country were continuing their academic journey at IIT Palakkad. The overall food cooked in the canteen and hostel areas won't meet the expectations of the students. So, most of the hostel students shifted somewhere and vacated the hostel areas.

Faculty: Overall strength of the students in our department was 32 which was above 40 on the previous year. Teachers were so manipulative and frustrating, especially in the time of fee dues. Teachers won't allow us to write model exams when we had spending fee payment. Teachers were more dedicated to the higher authorities of college.

Placements: Placement results of our discipline are lower than other department results but alumni of our discipline work in good companies with top-rated packages. They were assured of providing at least one offer with minimal pay which helps to develop skills and work experience. They are good at building networking among core companies.

Infrastructure: Possibilities for exploring industrial visits, and tours are very less but students are allowed for such activities at least once a year. Phenomenal college with good values.

Placements: Causal conducting of placement drives starts from orientation to tests, followed by the process of interviews. Most of the electrical industries like BHEL, Havells, and L&T often visit the campus for recruitment. Even though the expected twists and turns happen in the drives. The packages are affordable.

Infrastructure: It is a little far from the college. But I chose to reside in the college hostel. Hostel food is okay, but I crave my home food. So I left the college every weekend, and it required a lot of approval. It is a phenomenal college with good moral values.

Faculty: Lectures focus on providing comprehensive learning of the technologies from the fundamentals. Usually, teachers build up formal conversation between the students. They won't talk about anything apart from the studies. Frequent assessments are held in the college.

The college with good recognition.

Placements: The percentage of recruitment from the computer science and engineering department is up to 75% randomly and it is the highest when compared with other courses. The type of training decided by ourselves to attend would decide the pay gained by us in the future. I chose the extreme level of training so I got a package of 13.5 LPA.

Faculty: Special attention to students is given by the faculty members, which creates partition among Us. Sometimes faculty members decide the range for students in academics by themselves which makes some students lose their interest in studies. I would give them 3.5 out of 5 stars for their teaching.

Other: Crowd campus with a thousand of graduates completing their full-time courses from our college. The perspectives of our college in providing education to the students are different from others which is somewhat creative and innovative. Sometimes, some extra charges are collected yearly by showing some reasons.
