Yes, applicants preparing for JEE Main exam can appear for KIITEE exam also. The syllabus of both the exams is similar. The difficulty level of the KIITEE exam is quite lower than that of JEE Main. Applicants having good command over Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics concepts and topics can crack both the exams with ease.

For 2023, the cut-off was 47604 for General category candidates in the All India quota for BTech (Hons) in Civil Engineering at NIT Jamshedpur - National Institute of Technology. For female candidates in the general category under All India quota, 64054 was the closing rank. BTech cut-off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

Hello Riya Singh, your JEE Mains ranking at about 1.1 Lacs is quite good. I am sure that you are bound to get one of the branches of engineering that you are desiring. Unfortunately you have not mentioned your percentile. However, I am sure you must be aware of your percentile. NTA has announced cutoffs in percentile for different categories of students. As EWS category student, cutoff is at 63.1114141. You can appear for JoSSA counselling only if you have scored more than this percentile. It's all right.
