Candidates must have passed a Class 12 pass from a recognised board in the Science stream with at least five subjects and a minimum of 75% aggregate (65% for candidates from reserved categories) or be in the top 20 percentile in the Class 12 exams administered by the relevant boards in order to be eligible for admission to the B Tech programme at NIT Rourkela.
