Why I chose DTU over other JAC colleges.
Placements: From what I have seen, around seniors and me, placements in my branch (CSE) are actually pretty strong with a good median package of 18 LPA. Almost everyone who is serious about placements ends up getting placed, so it is roughly 90-95%. The highest package offered is currently around 90 LPA, but those are rare. For most students, the average package offered ranges from 15-22 LPA. Companies like Google, BlackRock, Microsoft, Meesho, Amazon, Uber, and Goldman Sachs visit the college regularly, which is a big plus point. Internships are also quite common, and many get PPOs directly from those.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite decent, especially for CSE, software, IT, and MCE branch students. It is more than enough, as we have a special building called the twin towers. The department has well-equipped computer labs with updated systems. There is campus-wide Wi-Fi (though speed fluctuations occur) and classrooms with projectors. The library is spacious, useful, especially during exams, with a good collection of academic books and a proper reading area. Hostel facilities are manageable. Rooms are okay, not luxury, but livable. Mess food is average (sometimes good and some days not so great). The canteens offer a variety of food.
Faculty: Teachers are mostly qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality varies. Some are very helpful, and others rely more on self-study. The course curriculum covers core CS fundamentals, but students still need extra effort (coding and projects) to be industry-ready. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty. The pass percentage is generally high, with most students clearing exams if they start just before exams.
Other: I chose this college and course because of its flexibility. I have enough time here to focus on other things. The crowd is very good. Events and fests are the best here. There are also major scholarships for students, which is also a very good plus point.

DTU- Pros and cons of this college.
Placements: In my course, the placements are between mediocre and good. The average package is between 18 and 19 LPA, and the median is 15 LPA. Google, Microsoft, and Meta all these companies come for recruiting students, but there is a CGPA mandate of 8.5 if you want to sit for all the companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good, and many labs are available for CSE, like the data mining lab, AI lab, and Samsung software lab. The library is also good, but there is a Wi-Fi issue in the library. First-year hostels are bad and overcrowded, but they get better as you proceed in your course.
Faculty: The course does a mediocre job at making the students industry-ready, there aren't many courses that give exposure to real industry work. The teachers vary significantly, some are very good and active, while some look like they’re being forced to teach. Exams are not that difficult, but you still need to study daily at least.
Other: The fests in the college are amazing, and DTU is actually famous for these fests. The biggest fest in North India, Engifest, happens in DTU every year.

DTU is a perfect blend of academics and exposure.
Placements: I am from the 2027 batch Computer Science branch. In our batch of 60 students, around 10 students are hired for internship process in top companies like Uber, Microsoft, and Google for two months. If the performance of the student is good during the process, the company will also offer PPO to the students selected. Around six students are taken by a company. Around 50 to 60 percent of students are converted into PPO, but the internship process only takes a few students. The rest do an internship from outside in the seventh semester. There is credit for an internship, and it is compulsory to do one.
Infrastructure: For every department, there is seperate building. There are various new shops constructed near academic blocks. The best part, I feel is that there are vending machines installed in each hostel for late-night cravings. The hostel is fully covered with college Wi-Fi and is quite reliable with a good network but I am personally not satisfied with the medical facilities as for every disease they give paracetamol.
Faculty: Some of the teachers are very strict while others don't care to take a single class. When you come in the third or fourth year, the course gets lenient. The teachers also do not care to teach, for example, all the students prefer to study from YouTube rather than from their professors. I think exams do not make students industry-ready.
Other: I chose this college because my senior told me that I would get a lot of free time and good exposure, but since I live far from the college, I had to rent a PG or flat, which made it very difficult for me to travel. I thought taking an NSUT would be better for me. The crowd is very different and depends on the branch. In Computer Science, there are various studious students, while in lower branches, the students don't focus on studies.

Balanced campus life with strong placements at DTU.
Placements: I am currently in my third year and in my sixth semester. Internship opportunities came into our college in our fifth semester itself and from a batch of 60 students around 5 to 10 students took the computer science branch. This ratio decreases branch-wise. The highest package can go above 50 LPA and the average package ranges between 12 LPA and 18 LPA for core branches. The average package is generally between 7 LPA and 12 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Google, Amazon, Adobe, Deloitte, Infosys, and TCS also come for placement and internship process.
Infrastructure: For the computer science and IT department there are academic blocks three and four which are recently renovated and come with air conditioners. The classrooms with smartboards and projectors have an electrical outlet at each for charging laptops in the classroom. The whole block is covered with College Wi-Fi which works sometimes but is not reliable. There are two basketball courts, 3 tennis courts, and 1 indoor sports complex which consists of a pool table, badminton courts, and TT tables as well as a huge football ground and cricket ground. There is one health centre on our campus which is not that good.
Faculty: For the first year students there are assistant professors or PhD teachers who teach basic subjects like maths, etc. But from the second year onwards some professors teach the main core subject. The teaching quality is decent. The students usually watch YouTube lectures for the course and for mid-semester and semester exams. If you start studying a week before exam you will be in a good position.
Other: I chose this course because of the placement stats and the exposure this College gives. I had my seniors in this college and the review was good so I chose to pursue CS in this college. There is one cultural fest which is the biggest and attracts a lot of crowd from Delhi and one technical fest. The Metro connectivity is decent, there are two metros nearby. There is a scholarship for category students and a merit-based scholarship.

Delhi Technological University Delhi College review.
Placements: I'm a fresher, so I don't know everything yet, but DTU is famous for having a 90% placement rate. Companies like Google and Adobe come here every year. Last year, someone got 85.3 LPA, and the average is usually between 15 and 25 LPA. If you want a good job after college, this place is definitely worth it.
Infrastructure: The campus has the basics covered, like clean water, big Science labs, and a large hall for events. There's a sports field and a library with tons of books. The classrooms stay neat, and the college provides buses and dorms. The dining hall is clean, and the food is fine, but I do wish there were more meal options to choose from.
Faculty: Teachers and staff do a solid job. During freshman year, the classes felt a lot like high school, which helped me get used to college faster. The yearly exams weren't too stressful. Also, the school makes a big deal out of the top students and gives them awards for their hard work.

400 days I spent in Delhi Technological University.
Placements: Around 70 percent of the students are placed in my Computer Engineering course. The highest package is around 80 LPA, the lowest is around 10 LPA, and the average is around 15–20 LPA. Top recruiters include Sprinklr, Google, Microsoft, TCS, Hero, etc. About 90 percent of students get internships in various companies like Maruti, TCS, Amazon, and Microsoft at top tier. Top roles offered are VITE pack developer, backend developer, frontend developer, full stack developer, and ABAP consultant.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure for my course are really good because my course is the topmost course in B.Tech, and we are preferred the most for campus activities, events, and Olympiads. Wi-Fi is top-notch speed. Labs are well-built and clean. Classrooms are perfect, and the library is vast, it feels like it will never end!
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable for our course. They are excellent at teaching DSAs and MPBSDs, which are considered the toughest subjects in the course. The course is relevant to the curriculum and directly prepares students to work in industries after graduation. Exams are very difficult but can be passed with sincere effort.
Other: I chose this course because it was my childhood dream to study computers. Even from class 5, I have been hands-on with computers. I have been a stubborn child from the start, and I love computers. The best part of my course is having a laptop 24/7, which makes this “winner child” happy. Fees could be improved so that students from economically weaker backgrounds can afford it easily. Fests and other activities are all good. The only drawback is the fees.

If you want to secure a good placement, I would consider DTU as it is one of the tier 1 colleges.
Placements: DTU placement is not that good like IITs for the highest packages, but it’s still good. DTU is not able to provide above 1 CPA, but the average and median packages are still good. Out of 10 students, 6 or 7 take above 20 LPA, it also depends upon the branch.
Infrastructure: I’m not a hosteler, but what I have listened, 1st-year hostels are so good. Can’t say the same for hostel mess, but for freedom, 1st-year hostels are good. You can go outside college up to 10–11 pm and still enter at 3–4 am. Even if you are not able to get a hostel, you can take a PG too.
Faculty: The course instructors are so good. You just have to take mid exams seriously, if you score well in mid semester, you can surely take 8 CGPA easily. The resources are also provided by teachers and seniors. All you have to do is just previous year questions.
Other: From freshers to year-end, there are lots of mini events going on. Not only mini events, the main events are also so good. Both academic and sports fests are also there.

Very nice placements and good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: DTU has mostly all the top companies out there in my domain, Google, Adobe, Microsoft, Apple, etc. Many roles offered are Software Engineer, Quant Engineer, and Back end Engineer. The placement percentage in my college is also great. The placement percentage is around 80 percent for the general students.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of the college are on par with all the good universities out there. The food is also very tasty in the mess and the canteen. There are good sports teams out there. Computer labs, on the other hand are not as good because most of the computers there do not work. The Wi-Fi signal is also very low.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and they are always available to work after the classes as well. The curriculum for our course is also up to date. It really helps with the placements. Further, the semester exams in my college are really well conducted and the pass percentage is 70 percent.
