The campus and facilities are very good. Placements are also good here.

Placements: You need to score atleast 95% in academics to get admission to this course. The average salary package offered in our branch is 15 LPA. Placements in our college are very good. The automobiles sector hires many students, and the IT sector also offers many jobs. If you love to do field jobs, then you can surely choose this branch.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. It has the largest campus among all other NITS. It has the second-largest campus after IIT Kharagpur. It has the biggest library in Odisha. The campus is very clean and maintained. The hostel is very good and well maintained. The whole campus is Wi-Fi enabled.

Faculty: Faculty members are good and well-qualified. All faculty members are from IITs. Here exams are very tough. The marking scheme is very tough. So if you want to score well, then you have to study hard. The passing CGPA is 6. They are supportive, and they also provide personal counseling.

Review of NIT Rourkela - National Institute of Technology.

Placements: About 87% of the students from our course got placed during the last placement session. Companies from different domains like IT, consultancy, core and FMCG visit our college for placements. A bunch of students also got pre-placement offers while the pre-final year students got the internship.

Infrastructure: NIT Rourkela has a vast campus which is the 2nd largest campus in India after IITKGP. One of its hostel named Vikram Sarabhai hall of residence is the 2nd largest hostel in Asia with around 1,500 rooms. Facilities available in laboratories and classrooms are well-equipped.

Faculty: Variety of faculty members are available in our college. Some teachers give priorities to attendance, while others mainly focus on research. There are some talented faculty members who not only teach well but also help students by counselling them. They also give proper direction to excel.
