DASA UG 2022 Round 2 Allotment result will be declared at 7:00 PM on October 11, 2022 as per the official notification. The result for the first round of seat allotment was declared on October 8, 2022, at the official website. Choice filling for UG options was reopened from October 4 to October 6, 2022. It was open only to those candidates who were issued DASA-2022 ranks. The rank for UG was declared on September 30, 2022, on the basis of JEE Main scores. The tentative schedule of DASA UG Counselling was announced on August 29, 2022. The final date for online registration was September 20, 2022. 

DASA 2022 is conducted by NIT Warangal. The admissions to several UG and PG programmes of premier Indian institutes under the DASA scheme will be coordinated by the National Institute of Technology Warangal, India. The host, NIT Warangal, released the DASA Brochure 2022

DASA UG 2022 scheme will be carried out for admission of eligible candidates to the BTech and BArch programme offered by NITs, IIITs, SPAs and other Centrally Funded & Premier Technical Institutes in India. Candidates seeking admission should fulfill the eligibility criteria to fill the application form. DASA UG application form 2022 will be released online at dasanit.org. After filling the application form eligible candidates will be shortlisted for the counselling process. What is DASA UG?

Direct Admission of Students Abroad (DASA) is a scheme for admission to admission to Undergraduate Engineering and  Architecture programmes offered by the leading institutes of India. Candidates will get admission under the DASA scheme only if they are meeting the eligibility criteria. The admissions under DASA scheme shall be done on the basis of the ranks obtained by the students in JEE Main.

DASA 2022 Application Process

The application form will be released online. Candidates will be able to submit the application form until the last date only. No candidate should send the application form through email, post, etc. Prior to filling DASA UG application form 2022, candidates should go through the information brochure carefully. They should fill the application form with correct details only otherwise their application will be liable for rejection. The application process encompasses various stages like registration, filling the application form, uploading photo and signature, fee payment, and final submit. 

DASA 2022 Eligibility Criteria

To enroll in the Undergraduate programmes offered, candidates must fulfill the eligibility criteria. Check DASA UG eligibility criteria below.

DASA Academic Eligibility Criteria

  • Candidates must have passed Class 12 with Mathematics, Physics and one of the subjects from (Chemistry, Bio-technology, Computer Science, Biology) from any system of education recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU)
  • Candidates appearing for the qualifying examination with the above mentioned subjects in the academic year 2020-21 and expecting their final results latest by November 30, 2022 may also apply.
  • Candidates must have qualified JEE Main

DASA Age Limit Criteria

· Candidates born on or after October 01, 1996 are eligible

DASA Residential Criteria

· Candidates studying in any country including India or Indian nationals studying abroad

DASA UG 2022 Counselling

Candidates will be called for participating in the counselling based on the merit list. Separate merit list will be released for separate courses. Candidates will be allotted rank based on their marks and choices filled by them. DASA UG counselling 2022 process incorporates different stages like registration, choice filling, choice locking, seat allotment, etc. After seat allotment, candidates are required to report to the allotted institute and pay the precribed fee to lock their seat.

DASA UG 2022 Cutoff

The admission authority will release DASA UG cutoff 2022 post completion of the counselling process. In the cutoff list, candidates will be able to check the opening rank and closing rank of the different rounds. To get an idea of the cutoff, candidates can check DASA UG 2021 cutoff.

DASA 2022: Reservation Criteria

15% seats are under the supernumerary quota of DASA out of which 5% supernumerary seats are reserved for Children of Indian Workers in Gulf (CIWG). Candidates who will get admission in NITs and IIEST Shibpur under CIWG category shall pay the tuition fee of Rs 1,25,000 per annum either in INR or equivalent USD. On the other hand, candidates get admission in institutes other than NITs and IIEST Shibpur under CIWG category, shall pay tuition fee at the same level as the Indian resident students at the respective institutes either in INR or equivalent USD.
