Beautiful college with a peaceful environment.
Placements: 96.14 percent of students were placed last year. Our branch has good placements, and good companies visit our college and select a good number of students. A good number of internships are offered every year, starting from the 3rd semester, with an average of 19-20 lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: The classrooms are well-equipped and ventilated. Labs have a good number of computers with properly working systems, a good Wi-Fi connection, and a good signal. The library has many books and is a peaceful place to read and study. Hostel facilities are good; rooms are ventilated properly, with greenery outside the hostels.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They teach in a fun and interactive manner. I think the course curriculum is relevant and is updated with market-required skills. It will definitely make students market-ready. Exams are slightly difficult but ensure we learn all the topics in depth.
Other: I chose this course because I like coding and want to become a software engineer. We have a good number of events.

Review of NIT Calicut - National Institute of Technology.
Placements: I am studying computer science and engineering in this college, and last year almost 100 percent of people got placed in CSE, and last year the highest package was 54 LPA, and the average was 12 LPA. Top companies like Google, Microsoft, and Tata are the top recruiters here.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are good and well maintained, and there is a very large library and almost every book is available. The hostel is also well maintained, and in every room wi-fi is available. Medical and sports facilities are all available, and the place is full of greenery, and you can take a walk for peace of mind.
Faculty: The quality of teaching in faculties provides you with good knowledge about your studies, and the curriculum is nicely planned and timely managed, and exam difficulty is based on your studies. If you studied well enough, then you can pass easily. The teaching of the faculty here is very good and understandable.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to become a software engineer, and here every asset is available to study hard and fulfill your dream, and this college celebrates every festival, and the college also celebrates South India's biggest technical festival called Thathva.

Good placements in 2023 and nice infrastructure.
Placements: I am pursuing computer science in B.Tech. at this college, and 100 percent of CSE students get placed. The highest package I know was 53 lakhs and lowest was 6 lakhs and the top recruitment company were Google, Microsoft, etc. The internships are a bit less compared to placements. Paytm and Ola offered internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. They provide libraries and computer centers for surfing the internet, and everyone can have access to Wi-Fi, and it is well high speed. There are a lot of classrooms for students, and every class has at most 50 students. Coming to hostels, the hostels are best at giving Wi-Fi for every room, and the quality of food is a bit average but good compared to outside food. Medical facilities are worst here. Sports and games are well maintained.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable but some are well efficient in teaching and others are not that efficient. The way of teaching is different from each other. Yes, the course is relevant to the curriculum. Yes, the students can be ready for industrial activities. The pass percentage is above 90 percent, and time is given between exams.
Other: I chose this course because my aim was to become a software engineer from childhood itself. The course is a bit tough for students of our level; it shall be made a little bit easier. Events and fests are a lot good on campus in South India. The biggest tech fest is hosted here called Tatha.

Great placements are going on, average infrastructure and food, and great experience.
Placements: Presently, 85% students are placed. The highest package is 50 LPA and average package is 20 LPA. The top recruiter is Traceable AI. 70% of students got internships. The top roles offered are software engineers, business analysts, data analysts, assistant managers, etc. Internships are offered in Amazon.
Infrastructure: There are 2 labs just for our department. We have 2 buildings for our classes. A huge library is also available. Mess food is not so good for other state people. Hostel accommodation is just okay for the price. A medical center is available, which is free for all the students.
Faculty: Here, teachers are generally highly qualified and PG. The teaching standards are high. The curriculum is very adjustable and can change according to student demand. Compared to other colleges, the exams here are moderate. My percentage is 86, which is very good. Generally, the average percentage is 70.
Other: At the time of joining, computer science was the best group so I chose it. Maybe a good interaction among students and teachers would have improved the course. 2 fests are held here. Tathava is a technical fest, and Ragam is a cultural fest. Scholarships would be given according to the vast reservation.6.

My experience with NIT Calicut.
Placements: NIT Calicut boasts top placements. The top recruiting companies are Google, which visits here every year; Amazon; Swiggy; Zomato; L&T; SAP; Maruti Suzuki; and Hyundai. Nearly 80 percent of students got internships with a stipend of 20,000. The percentage of students who got placed was 82 percent. The highest package is 67 LPA, which is secured by a student in computer science and engineering.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of hostels is not that good. There are two members in each room, which has enough amenities like a study table with a chair, a bed, but a mattress is not provided, and a cupboard is provided to keep our personal belongings safe. The quality of the food in the mess is good. But the food in the canteens is excellent. In labs and classrooms, Wi-Fi is available.
Faculty: The faculty was very good. Every faculty member holds a Ph.D. degree or even more. Some faculty treat us like their children or even more than that. The semester exams are not that difficult, with a pass percentage of 30 percent. In B.Tech, the most important part should be studied by the students; only the part that will be studied by the teachers is the minimum, even though that will be perfect.
Other: The campus life is very good because the campus is nearly 285 acres. There are many events that occur on campus; even people come here during the events and during festivals. I have chosen this college for this course because it has better placements than some IIT's, so I left some of the IIT's and joined here. There are many sports facilities available here. Connectivity to the nearest city is also good.
