No, the role of performing surgical procedures is typically reserved for medical doctors with the appropriate qualifications, such as those holding an MS degree. Nurses, including those with a BSc in Nursing, are not authorized to independently perform surgeries.

Nurses in India, including BSc Nursing-qualified nurses, play a crucial role in the healthcare system, but their responsibilities are generally focused on patient care, administering medications, monitoring vital signs, assisting doctors, and managing various aspects of patient care.

No, it is not necessary to appear for NEET to get admission to BSc Nursing. Many colleges conduct their own entrance exam for admission to BSc Nursing courses offered by them.

You can pursue Nursing right after your class 12 exam with 45% marks in Science (PCBE) from any recognised board. (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English). BSc Nursing is a Degree Course to pursue a career in Nursing. The course is divided into two parts- Basic and Post-Basic with a course duration of 4 and 2 years, respectively.
