2. NIPER JEE Pharmacy Entrance Exam

National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research Joint Entrance Exam 2026 or NIPER JEE is a national-level exam which offers MPharm, MTech (Pharm), MBA (Pharm) and PhD in pharmacy across its seven campuses all over India. The exam is conducted by the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, Guwahati. The exam duration is two hours and is conducted in English medium. NIPER JEE 2026 exam comprises 200 multiple-choice questions (MCQs). Each correct answer is awarded 1 mark, and there’s a negative marking of 0.25 mark for every wrong answer.

1. Delhi CET Pharmacy Entrance Exam

Delhi Common Entrance Test (CET) is a state-level entrance test. Delhi CET is conducted by the Department of Training and Technical Education, Delhi for admissions in a diploma course in Pharmacy. Delhi CET is also known as the Delhi Polytechnic examination. The Delhi CET exam will be held tentatively in the last week of May 2026.

The NIPER JEE 2025 syllabus comprised of Natural Products, Stereochemistry, Pharmaceutical analysis, Biotechnology and biochemistry, Gene expression, Cloning, Chemistry, Pharmacology, Phytochemistry and Aptitude. Applicants who want to appear in the exam must prepare these topics to qualify the exam.

The GAT (PGP) syllabus is important to complete to pass the exam. Pharmaceutical Analysis & Quality Assurance section includes Fundamentals of Pharmaceutical Analysis, Acid-Base Titrations, Oxidation-Reduction Titrations, Complexometric Titrations, Non-Aqueous Titrations, Potentiometry, Conductometry, Polarography, and Amperometry.

Q:   What should I prepare from Physical Chemistry for the GPAT exam?

Questions from important topics such as Composition & physical States of Matter Colligative Properties, Thermodynamics Refractive index, Ionic equilibrium, Solutions, Electrochemistry are seen in the exam. The Goa Common Entrance Test (Goa CET) exam is a state-level entrance test conducted by the Department of Technical Education, Goa Government for admissions to professional degree courses in Pharmacy offered by colleges in Goa. The authority organizes the GCET exam in May every year.

3. Gujarat CET

The Gujarat Common Entrance Test or the GUJCET is held by the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) for admission to degree and diploma programmes in Pharmacy across Gujarat. 

4. KCET

KCET or the Karnataka Common Entrance Test is a state-level entrance exam which facilitates admissions into B. Pharma and D. Pharma programmes across colleges in Karnataka State. KCET is conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). The commencement of KCET registration is expected to commence soon.

5. UKSEE

UKSEE or the Uttarakhand State Entrance Exam, is a state-level entrance exam which is conducted by Uttarakhand Technical University. UKSEE facilitates admission in B. Pharma and M. Pharma programmes across colleges in Uttarakhand State. The online registration is expected to begin in the second week of April 2026.

6. UPSEE

Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Exam or the UPSEE is a gateway for candidates seeking admissions in BPharma programme across colleges in Uttar Pradesh. The state-level exam is conducted by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), Uttar Pradesh. UPSEE application forms are expected to be available online from the Third week of January 2026.

7. WBJEE

WBJEE or the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination is a state-level exam which facilitates admission into B.Pharmacy courses at universities, government colleges and self-financing institutions in West Bengal. WBJEE exam is conducted by the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB).

8. RUHS Pharmacy

RUHS Pharmacy exam is a state-level exam. The Rajasthan University of Health Sciences (RUHS) conducts the RUHS Pharmacy exams for admission in B. Pharma and D. Pharma programmes to its affiliated colleges across Rajasthan State. RUHS will make the online application forms available soon on their official website, ruhsraj.org. RUHS will open online registrations around the fourth week of June 2026.

9. KEAM Entrance Exam

KEAM or the Kerala Engineering, Agricultural and Medical Entrance Exam facilitates admission in B. Pharma, B. Pharma (Lateral Entry) and M. Pharma programmes across government and private colleges in the Kerala state. The KEAM exam is conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examination (CEE), Kerala. CEE will start accepting online registrations in the First week of February 2026.

10. Chhattisgarh Pre-Pharmacy Test (CG PPHT)

CG PPHT or the Chhattisgarh Pre Pharmacy Test is a state-level entrance exam administered by Chhattisgarh Vyapam also known as Chhattisgarh Professional Examination Board, Raipur. The CG PPHT exam is a gateway for students to take admissions in B. Pharma, D. Pharma and M. Pharma programmes across affiliated colleges and institutions in Chhattisgarh state. CG Vyapam is expected to start inviting applications and registrations from the Third week of March 2026. 

11. Punjab Technical University (PTU) Exam

PTU or Punjab Technical University exam is conducted by the I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University, Kapurthala, Punjab. PTU exam facilitates admission into undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Pharmacy. The final admission is granted after the centralised counselling. Candidates can register for the exam somewhere around the fourth week of April 2026.

12. Odisha Joint Entrance (OJEE) exam

OJEE or the Odisha Joint Entrance Exam is conducted by the Odisha State Government to facilitate admission into BPharma and MPharma courses across the affiliated colleges and institutes in Odisha State. The exam will be conducted in computer-based mode. 

University-Level Pharmacy Entrance Exams 

Here are a few and well-known University-Level Pharmacy Entrance Exams for which candidates can appear this year: 

1. Jamia Hamdard Pharmacy Exam

Jamia Hamdard Pharmacy entrance test is conducted by Jamia Hamdard University, which is a deemed to be University, New Delhi. Hamdard College of Pharmacy started the diploma course in 1972, which was affiliated with the Delhi Board of Technical Education. The BPharma course was started in 1973 under the aegis of Delhi University, and the M. Pharma course in all four disciplines with PhD programme was started in 1986. Jamia Hamdard is expected to start the registration and application process in April 2026.

2. MAHE 2026 or MET 2026

Manipal College of Pharmaceutical Sciences (MCOPS) is an institute under the Manipal Academy of Higher Education or MAHE formerly known as Manipal University. MCOPS offers various courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level in Pharmacy. MCOPS or MAHE conducts the Manipal Entrance Test, commonly called MET 2026 for admission into B. Pharma/Pharm. D and M. Pharma programmes.

3. GITAM GAT 2026

GITAM GAT 2026 is conducted by the Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management (GITAM). GITAM GAT 2026, which is commonly known as GITAM Graduate Aptitude Test. GITAM GAT 2026 exam is conducted for admission to MPharma programmes. For MPharma programmes, candidates who have qualified the GPAT will be exempted from the GITAM GAT 2026. The examination is a computer-based test expected to be held in April 2026.
