RUHS BSc Nursing Exam 2025: Admission Process (Over), Counselling, Cutoff, Dates, Pattern, Syllabus

The Rajasthan University of Health Sciences Nursing entrance exam is also known as the RUHS CUET Nursing entrance exam. It is mandatory to appear for this entrance to seek admission to the undergraduate nursing programmes offered by institutions in Rajasthan. RUHS nursing is a state-level admission exam administered by the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences in Jaipur. RUHS provides BSc, Post Basic BSc, and MSc Nursing programmes. Candidates will fill 15% of the total seats on an all-India basis, including Rajasthan, and reserved seats for SC, ST, OBC, MBC, and EWS will fill 16%, 12%, 21%, 5%, and 10% of 15%, respectively. In all categories, the ratio of female candidates must not fall below 50% of the total seats.

Another important development is regarding the decision of RUHS Jaipur to accept NEET UG scores for admission. The decision has been made to accept NEET exam scores for admission due to a lack of time to apply, the document requirements for the candidates for NEET, the difference in the NEET and RUHS exam syllabi, and less time to prepare for the NEET exam. However, for the academic year 2026-27, admission to BSc Nursing will be based on NEET exam scores, and the selection of candidates will be based on Merit-Cum-Choice basis of NEET UG 2026. 

Aspirants who have received 45 per cent in aggregate (40 per cent for reserved categories) in class 12 from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects are eligible to apply online at RUHS's official website, ruhsraj.org.

The exam conducting body released the RUHS BSc nursing final answer key after accepting the objections from the applicants. The RUHS nursing challenge window closed on May 30, 2025. RUHS BSc Nursing 2025 Eligibility Criteria

To participate in the RUHS BSc Nursing application process, the first and foremost step for the candidates is to check the RUHS BSc Nursing 2025 eligibility criteria laid out by RUHS Jaipur. If the interested candidate fulfills the required eligibility criteria, then only his/her candidature will be subjected to approval while filling out the application form. For BSc Nursing

• The candidates should be 17 years of age. The upper limit for female candidates is 28 years, and for male candidates, the upper age limit is 25 years

Post Basic BSc Nursing

• There’s no age limit
• The candidates should have cleared the class 12 exam from any recognized board/university with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology subjects with 45 per cent marks in aggregate (40 per cent marks for SC/ST candidates) or should have a diploma in general nursing from a college registered with the Indian Nursing Council.
• The candidate should be medically fit

MSc Nursing

• The candidate should be an Indian national
• The candidate should have completed BSc Nursing, Post Basic nursing BSc from a recognized college registered with the Nursing Council of India.
• Should have scored 60 percent in aggregate (in the first attempt) in graduation
• There’s no age limit

RUHS BSc Nursing Application Process

The RUHS nursing application form was released online by the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur, in collaboration with Marwar Medical University, Jodhpur, in online mode. Application form-related information was available on the RUHS official website, ruhscuet2025.com. To create an account, visit the online portal and apply for the RUHS CUET 2025 nursing entrance exam. 

Important details such as name, father’s name, phone number, working mail ID, and date of birth, along with the academic details and a scanned copy of the signature and passport-size photograph, are required to apply for the RUHS 2025 nursing entrance exam. The RUHS application process will only be considered complete after the payment of the RUHS 2025 nursing application fee. Below are the steps on how to apply for RUHS 2025 nursing:

Candidates can pay the RUHS nursing application fee via e-Mitra, credit card, debit card, and net banking. After fees are paid, students are advised to save details for future purposes. 

The RUHS BSc nursing exam pattern 2025 states details about the structure of the exam. It is an offline mode exam (OMR-Based) held for a duration of 120 minutes. This exam was held in English as well as the Hindi language in test centers of Jaipur city only. There are 100 objective-type questions ( 33 questions of Physics, 33 questions of Chemistry, and 34 questions in Biology (Zoology and Botany). There is NO negative marking in the exam. For each correct answer, the applicant is awarded 1 mark each. 

RUHS BSc nursing 2025 admit card/hall ticket was issued by the Rajasthan University of Health Sciences, Jaipur, on May 22, 2025. The release date was postponed from May 15 to May 22 by the exam conducting body. The RUHS CUET admit card 2025 was available for download after logging in to the official RUHS accounts created at the time of filling out the RUHS nursing application form. An Application/Challan No. was required to download the RUHS BSc nursing admit card. After downloading the admit card, affix a recent passport-size photograph in the space provided. The photograph should be the same as that uploaded on the RUHS application form. Candidates are advised to review and cross-check all the details printed on the admit card, such as a candidate’s name, centre address, date of birth, time of exam, etc. 

RUHS BSc Nursing 2025 counselling for the Round-4 concluded on November 4, 2025. Candidates seeking admission to the top nursing institutes in Rajasthan can download their allotment letters from the official website. The BSc nursing counselling schedule is available on the official website of RUHS Jaipur, ruhscuet2025.com. A counselling participation fee will be charged, and it is mandatory to pay it after filling out the RUHS counselling registration form. It is important to keep the mandatory documents ready at the time of counselling. The authorities will double-check the original documents for verification purposes. The institute and seats will be allotted on a first-come, first-served basis, and depending on the merit list.
