IIT Dhanbad offers a four-year BTech degree course in Computer Science & Engineering. Admission to the four-year course is entrance-based. It is also one of the top BTech branches. As per the IIT ISM Dhanbad's past years records, almost 100% of students from the CSE department get placed.Ranking: IITs have a higher ranking and reputation among the engineering colleges in India and the world. NIT Patna accepts JEE Main ranks for admission to the BTech courses. NIT Patna Round 5 Cutoff was released for candidates under the AI and the HS quota. The most competitive course, for the General AI category candidates was Computer Science and Engineering with the closing Cutoff rank of 14442. The easiest course to get into NIT Patna, for the General AI category students was BTech in Civil Engineering, with the Round 5 cutoff rank of 46400.

The NIT Jalandhar BTech cutoff 2023 for Chemical Engineering was 6999 for SC and 2507 for ST. While admissions are based on the scores/rank earned in JEE Main, the last cut offs also vary a lot depending on the All India quota or Home State. It also differs whether the applicant is female.

For the ST AI category candidates, the most competitive course was BTech in Computer Science and Engineering, with the closing Cutoff of 1031.
