Absolutely one of the greatest colleges in India.
Placements: Approximately 96% of students from our branch have been placed, on average, over the last three years. The highest package is 86 LPA, and the lowest package is 6–7 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, Microsoft, Google, Adobe, and Accenture. Samsung, HCL Technologies, and L&T also recruit students in the core sector, while Tata Motors remains a consistent recruiter.
Infrastructure: The electrical department in our college is comparatively better than the other branches. Labs are good and well-equipped. Being a first-year student, I stay in a newly built hostel, which is probably one of the best among government colleges. The mess food is not very good. The classrooms are good and modern and feel like those at IIT Bombay. The campus feels green and good, but most of it remains empty. The college lacks an auditorium, but one is currently under construction.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. Many are helpful and supportive. The teaching quality is good overall. The course curriculum is relevant and updated, and many feel it helps make students industry-ready. Semester exams are usually moderate to fair. If you prepare well, you can pass them. The pass percentage is around 90% in our branch.

Absolutely decent institute.
Placements: Approximately 87% of students from our branch get placed on average over the last five years. The highest package is 66 LPA, and the lowest package is 8–9 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Amazon, Flipkart, Microsoft, Google, Adobe, and Accenture.
Classrooms are good and very modern. The campus feels green and good, but most of it remains empty. The college has a student activity centre where all indoor games are played.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, knowledgeable, helpful, and supportive. The teaching quality is good overall. The course curriculum is relevant and up to date, helping make students industry-ready. Semester exams are usually moderate to fair. If you prepare well, you can pass them. Exams are of two types. End-of-semester and mid-semester exams, and both are easy to moderate level. Anyone who studies for 10 days before the exam can score decent marks.

Absolutely, I love my college.
Placements: In my institute, the highest package offered is around 40 LPA, and our average package is around 16 LPA, which I think is good. This is the first batch from ECM that is on placement. I think with time, placements will be better than the current scenario. I would like to inform you that all of them are placed in non-core, so this branch is completely on the tech side. With time, the branch demand will increase in the market.
Infrastructure: Hostel, I would rate 5 above and more especially, the hostel is at the level of IITs and above any NITs hostel. Cleanliness in the hostel is also top-level and sweeping machines are used. Mess food, I would rate 4.5. Non-vegetarian food is very good. Vegetarian students have to suffer a little bit. Medical, I would rate 5. There is always an ambulance available 24/7, and there are doctors for stress and anxiety. Also, one of my classmates has anxiety problems, so the college authority takes it seriously. Sports, I would rate 4. Mostly, all sports are available, so overall 4.
Faculty: In our institute, the faculty-to-student ratio is quite good, it is nearly up to 9:1. Approaching the faculty members is very easy, as they are supportive. All the faculty members are good, so we cannot take the names. There are two exams, mid-semester and end-semester. They are a little bit tough. The curriculum is also relevant when it comes to the core branches, and it is somewhat non-relevant for the tech branches.

Placement in our institute is appreciable.
Placements: Almost 80 to 85 percent of students get placed every year. The highest package is 15 LPA, and the lowest package is 4.5 LPA. Top recruiters are Accenture, Adobe, and Amazon. Around 10–15 percent of seniors get internships. The top role offered is MERN Developer. In the last 2–3 years, there have been some placement issues. Many seniors are not placed through campus recruitment and try to get jobs off campus.
Infrastructure: Our college provides all the general facilities such as Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library for all the departments. In our department, there are many laboratories. The hostel room size is good, but the washrooms are not cleaned properly, and the mess does not have enough workers.
Faculty: The teachers vary from department to department. Every professor is different. Some are good and some are not. The course curriculum is not fully relevant, as they are still living in an old ideology, which sometimes backfires, I think so. The exams are not that difficult. You can study a day before and pass easily in every subject. Almost everyone here passes.

Nice campus with good placements.
Placements: In the college almost 90 percent of students are placed in four companies and nearly 100 percent in non-teaching roles. The highest salary offered is 45 LPA, the average is around 12 LPA, and the lowest is 5 LPA. Major recruiters include Google, Microsoft, and L&T.
Infrastructure: Hostels are allotted to each student in the college. For the first year a single room is shared with 2 students while in the second year onwards a single room is allotted to single students. The mess food quality is not so good. The library is full of books and books. You'll get newspapers and magazines too. The classroom is very high-tech and air-conditioned. They have whiteboards and a green board, projectors, and a podium equipped with a mic. Many sports events here, like cricket, football, Premier League, badminton, etc., are conducted.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and always willing to help. They communicate well. The curriculum focuses on preparing students for jobs. The semester exams can be a little tough but the high pass rate shows that the course is well-structured. Faculty members are good and approachable.

Mostly all things are favourable.
Placements: Around 80% to 85% of students get placed in our course. Companies like Aditya Birla, Tata, and PhonePe recruit students from our course. Every student gets an internship in the 3rd year through hard work. The average package is 12 LPA, and the highest package is 50 LPA.
Infrastructure: Facilities available in our hostel include Wi-Fi, drinking water, light, fans, and beds. Fully air-conditioned classrooms are available in our college. A central library is also available on our campus, and books can be issued by students. Cricket, kabaddi, and other sports are also included.
Faculty: Professors are well-qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. All of them are PhD holders. The courses are relevant to industry needs. Besides, one has to prepare himself/herself too. Each semester has 2 exams, a midterm and an end-of-term exam. If one studies, they will pass easily.
Other: Our department has facilities such as a library, Internet service, digital library, well-maintained labs, well-furnished classrooms, etc. Hostels for boys are decent, and they vary from student to student. The food is good, and sometimes the food quality may be poor, but overall it's good. Our college also has a medical facility available 24/7. For sports, a sports complex is there, which has all kinds of indoor and outdoor sports.

One of the best engineering institutes in Bihar.
Placements: Almost 87 percent of students are placed. The highest package is 36 LPA. Top recruiting companies include L&T, Tata Steel, Jusco, etc. Many students get internships at companies like Amazon and PhonePe. Students perform well in placements overall. The lowest package offered by L&T this year is around 6 LPA.
Infrastructure: Although the overall infrastructure is average, facilities like campus Wi-Fi, well-maintained labs, comfortable classrooms, and a large library make a significant difference. The library has a wide collection of books, so students do not need to spend much on external study materials. The Student Activity Centre (SAC) includes indoor games such as chess, table tennis, squash, etc. Transport facilities and on-campus housing are also available. The mess food is good.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, with many holding degrees and achievements from top IITs. They cover the syllabus effectively, though some are strict. The curriculum remains the same as the previous batch. End-of-semester examinations are more important than mid-semester examinations.

Placements are good, if you are good and don’t mind a small campus, you can join this college.
Placements: Almost 80 percent of students usually get placed in my Electrical branch; however, not everyone gets high packages like 20–25 LPA. Only a few people get it. The highest package is usually 30–35 LPA, the lowest is 6 LPA, and the average package is 9.8 LPA as of 2025. Top recruiters are PW, Tata Motors, Amazon, Google, Oracle, TCS, Adobe, etc. Most students usually get placed in CS jobs, not in core. Internship percentage is not that high, only 30 percent of students get internships, usually in Amazon, DE Shaw, etc. Top roles are SDE1, SDE2, SDE3, also executive engineer, and some join PSU.
Infrastructure: Facilities are not up to the mark as per NIT standards. The college area is very small. Wi-Fi is available all over the campus, but the classrooms are not that good, some are equipped with AC, some are not. The library is good, with ample seating and all the books of my course available. Hostel facility is good. I am residing in Brahmapur Hostel, which was built recently, so it is quite good and big. Mess food is eatable, and canteen facilities are also available at night. Medical and sports facilities are not available.
Faculty: Teachers are quite good and professional in their work and are highly qualified. Most teachers have done their Ph.D. from IITs. Teaching quality is good. The curriculum is relevant, but not very industry-oriented, so you have to work on your own to reach that level. Semester exams are easy, and you can easily score high marks by studying a few hours daily. The pass percentage is 30 percent, however, grading is relative, so it is highly dependent on the performance of other students as well.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted a good branch and a decent college, so I chose this as per my rank in the JEE exam. To make it more industry-oriented, events and fests are not very active in our college. Connectivity is very good. Scholarships are available for some students. You can participate in extracurricular activities as they are common, with most clubs regularly organizing them.

It depends on the other alternatives available. You cannot go just for the tag NIT. Branch allocated and relative comparison between the options available as per your Jee Mains score is very important. All the best!
