Integrated M.Tech. in Electrical Engineering (Power System Engineering) - Batch of 2029

Amazing placement and gorgeous institute.
Placements: 88% of students got placed last year. My branch has been the highest placement in any branch after mechanical. The highest placement in electrical is 20 LPA, and the lowest is 3.6 LPA. Top recruiting companies in electrical are TCS, Infosys, HAL, BHEL, L&T, etc. Some tech companies like Google and Microsoft also recruit from the electrical branch. Internship in our college is quite low compared to placement.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure for the department is decent enough for classes, and the labs are kind of average. Hostel facilities are average, similar to those provided in any government institute, and you won't get any AC facilities in hostel rooms except for the common room. The food facility is average, like every other hostel in government colleges.
Faculty: Faculty members are good and well-qualified. You will find all types of professors, including supportive, kind, and funny ones, as well as bad ones. The curriculum of SET is quite good. It includes electrical engineering subjects and core energy courses. Semester exams are of a moderate level, not too easy and not too difficult, unless you do not study.

The college is overall good.
Placements: Around 80 to 85% of students get placed in the last year till December. The highest package is around 60 LPA, the average package is about 13 LPA and the lowest is around 8 LPA. The top recruiters are Infosys, Wipro, Cognizant, TCS, etc. Around 80% of students get internships in the 6th semester.
Infrastructure: Facilities available on the college campus area are a central library, computer center, well-equipped laboratories, and high-speed internet. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is good. The medical facilities are also provided by the college administration. Sports like volleyball, basketball, cricket, chess, and many more.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and experienced, with the best knowledge. They are very helpful in the perspective of academic and non-academic. The teaching quality is very good, and the course curriculum is relevant, and to make students ready for industrial purposes. The semester exams in the college are overall moderate, and the pass percentage is 90%.

Nice - National Institute of Technology.
Placements: Around 70% to 78% of students get placed in our course. The highest salary package in our college is 45 LPA. The average salary package is 14 LPA, and the lowest salary package is 6 LPA. Companies like Aditya Birla, Tata, and PhonePe recruit students from our course. Every student gets an internship in the 2nd or 3rd year through hard work.
Infrastructure: Facilities available in our hostel include Wi-Fi, drinking water, light, fans, and beds. Fully air-conditioned classrooms are available in our college. A central library is also available on our campus, and books can be issued by students. The quality of food in the mess is average. There are three canteens available on our campus. The fast food is good. We have a small ground to play different sports like volleyball, football, and cricket.
Faculty: Professors are well-qualified, helpful, and knowledgeable. All of them are Ph.D. holders. The courses are relevant to industry needs. Besides, one has to prepare himself/herself too. Each semester has 2 exams, mid-term and end-term. One needs to have at least 35% to pass the course.

Good placement, average infrastructure, good facility, fewer events and fests.
Placements: Almost 80 percent have been placed before the recession, but after that, in recent years, the condition of placements is concerning. It was good for top branches. The highest package is good and can go to crores. The lowest package is 6 LPA. The average is 13 LPA. Roles are in development. 20 percent of students get the opportunity for an internship.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Wi-Fi is available in the whole college. Classes are good, but some are in bad condition. The library is good, with a capacity of 200 students. The facility of the mess is good. The food is good on most days, but bad on some days. The sports facility is good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, as per my experience, and knowledgeable, as in NIT. The teaching quality is good, and the teachers are qualified. Yes, the course is relevant, but not as good as electronics and CSE. Semester exams are not difficult, but you can fail if you don't study. However, if you study daily for at least 1 hour, then the semester exams are quite easy.
Other: I chose this because it is a national institute and provides a lot of opportunities for their students from the college side. Things that I want to improve: start teaching about what is needed for placement rather than teaching the old syllabus. Fests don't happen very often. There is no campus crowd as some students have shifted to the new Bihta campus. Scholarships are available for a few students. Extracurricular activities happen very often.

Best college for engineering .
Placements: As per our college, our department started that last year placement of electrical engineering branch was 94%. The highest package was 55 LPA. The lowest package was 5 LPA. The average package was 12 LPA. There were a lot of technical companies like Amazon, Google, Accenture, TCS, etc. Along with that, there were core companies as well, like HCL, etc. Very few students got internships, probably around 20%. There were a lot of big companies like Amazon, Deloitte, Google, etc. Top roles offered were SDE, GET, Analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: The entire college is extremely old, although a new campus is under construction in Bihta. Residential facilities are provided to students in three boys hostels and two girls hostels. Presently, all the girls and many of the boys are accommodated in these hostels. The hostels are guarded round the clock by private security staff. Patrolling is also done by state security personnel at night. There are also separate wardens for every hostel in order to maintain discipline. Each hostel provides a central mess facility for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Uninterrupted water and electricity supply are also provided. Hostels have separate Wi-Fi connections for providing internet facilities to students 24x7. Newspapers and magazines are put up in the common rooms. Cleanliness and hygiene are taken care of and maintained in every aspect. Although Wi-Fi is extremely slow, mess food is just acceptable, not good. There is no night canteen.
Faculty: Some faculty are good, while some are just unbearable. Although all of them are extremely qualified and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is highly relevant, with no unnecessary things and fewer loads and they cover each and every aspect required in industry. Semester exams are moderate. You will have to study well to ace it.

The college is good but is currently focusing on the new campus.
Placements: 80 percent of students are placed. The highest package is offered by Google, which is 1.6 crore, and the lowest one is 4 lakh. Top recruiters are TCS, Wipro, Google, Microsoft, Samsung, LG, and Infosys. Only 10 percent of students get paid internships. Top roles include electrical head, as well as many opportunities in GATE and PSU.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good in some departments but bad in others because some classrooms lack basic facilities like AC, and the food in the mess is not good sometimes. However, canteens are available where you can buy good food. Medical facilities are good, and a big ground is provided for various sports, as well as indoor games.
Faculty: Yes, teachers are very helpful and assist in academics as well as in other departments. They are knowledgeable. The course is relevant; however, considering the CS boom, it is irrelevant in some ways. Semester exams are not too difficult if you study consistently.
Other: I chose this college because I wasn't getting into top NITs like MNIT and MANIT. Infrastructure needs improvement. Events happen regularly, for example, treasure hunts, Rangmanch, and hackathons arranged for coders, and many more to showcase your skills.

College is worth to join.
Placements: Till last year, around 80% of the students got placements in electrical engineering branch. The highest package offered is around 45 LPA. The average package is around 10 LPA, and the lowest package is around 6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Wipro, Vedanta, TCS, etc. Almost every student got internships in 3rd year of engineering courses.
Infrastructure: The facilities available in college are high-speed internet connection, well-equipped laboratories, well-furnished classrooms, and library. The quality of hostel is average, and quality of food available in mess is average. Sometimes hygienic food is given by mess staff but sometimes not. Basic medical facilities are available on college campus.
Faculty: Professors are very supportive and helpful in nature. They are well-experienced in their field. The teaching methodology is really impressive. According to me, the course curriculum is relevant and it ready students for industrial purposes. Semester exams are moderate, and around 90% of students pass the exams.

Amazing institute among NITs.
Placements: In the year 2024, around 85% of electrical engineering students got placed, with the highest package being 55 LPA. The average package is 12 LPA, and the lowest is 7 LPA. There are many recruiting companies, a few of which are ONGC, HPCL, NTPC, Apple, Google, Goldman Sachs, Flipkart, and American Express. Most of the electrical students get internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: The department building is facilitated with advanced equipment which is used for creative thinking and helps us explore our thoughts. Classrooms are facilitated with central AC and a digital board. The quality of the food in the mess is not that good but there are many restaurants near campus for South Indians.
Faculty: NIT professors are the best in the nation. Our professors are highly experienced in their fields and enthusiastic about their subjects. The curriculum at NIT Patna follows the same structure as other engineering colleges, which is good. The exam levels are also well-managed, and high-level exams are conducted.
