Placements: This year, only about 40 percent of students are placed in our branch. The highest package is around 18 LPA, and the lowest is 3.6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are L&T, Infosys, TCS, and other software companies, as there are no jobs in the core field. Almost only 20 percent of students get internships. The top roles offered are software engineer, structural engineer, site engineer, and environment engineer.
Infrastructure: I live in the hostel named Brahmapur Hostel of the National Institute of Technology, Patna. This is one of the largest boys’ hostels in NIT Patna, and yesterday there is a special dinner. There are three boys’ hostels and one girls’ hostel. The total capacity is around 1,400 students. Some hostels have poor basic facilities. The Wi-Fi is very slow due to the large number of users. The library is well-equipped, but the classrooms are a bit old. The mess food is unacceptable.
Faculty: Teachers in the department are invaluable to students, but teachers from other departments, like the Physics department, do not seem well-qualified. Students have to prepare on their own. The course curriculum is very relevant and focuses only on courses that help with placements. There are two mid-term exams and one end-semester exam in each semester.
Other: This is the best college I have ever seen. I assume that other students take admission in NIT Patna.

Our college is very good and has good infrastructure.
Placements: In our batch, 75–80 percent of students get placed through the campus recruitment process. The highest package offered is around 12 LPA, the lowest is 2.5 LPA, and the average package is nearly 4–5 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies include TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, L&T, Cognizant, and Capgemini. Nearly 60% of students also secure internships in reputed companies, mainly in IT, Manufacturing, and Core Engineering sectors. The major job roles offered are Graduate Engineer Trainee (GET), Software Developer, Site Engineer, Design Engineer, and Analyst.
Infrastructure: The college provides good infrastructure facilities. Wi-Fi connectivity is reliable. The departments have well-equipped laboratories, modern classrooms, project and seminar halls, and a central library with digital access. The campus environment is clean and supportive for academic learning. Hostel facilities are satisfactory with 24/7 water and electricity backup. The mess food quality is average but hygienic. Medical facilities are available on campus. Hostel security is good. The college also promotes physical development with sports grounds, a gym, and indoor games facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable. They guide and teach students effectively. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are neither very tough nor very easy. If we study hard, exams are easy. Overall, the exam system is good.
Other: I chose because I am interested in it. The best thing is that I had a good interest since my school days. So it is very suitable for me.

Review of National Institute of Technology Patna.
Placements: After the 6th semester, students become eligible for campus placement. Companies like Texas Instruments, Samsung, Accenture, Amazon, Keysight Technologies, Deloitte, L&T Bosch, Teach Mahindra and many more. The highest package for batch 2024 to 25 is 41 LPA offered to a CSE student. The average package offered is 10 LPA. The percentage of students placed here is almost 85 percent. Look for a job after getting the degree. Companies like Google, Amazon and many more come here for internship opportunities for a 2-month or 6-month duration. Offering roles for Software Development.
Infrastructure: Very good infrastructure and hostel. Mess food is decent. The course is taught by an experienced faculty member with vast experience and knowledge. The library is filled with all kinds of books you want to look at. The classroom is well structured, air-conditioned, and a projector is available. Sports and extracurricular activities are well distributed. There are many interesting social clubs here. It helps students to develop their whole personality. Hostel rooms are provided with fans, free Wi-Fi, and a water cooler. Meal quality is good. We get both veg and non-veg items.
Faculty: The faculty-to-student ratio is okay in my opinion. In our ECE batch, there are 90 students in a single section. There are no such faculty members whom I don't like. Each semester, there will be 2 exams. One is a mid-semester examination, and the other is an end-of-semester examination. Mid sem is an easy one as compared to the end of the semester. There are very few students who fail these exams. The course curriculum is relevant as it covers all the aspects of that particular branch.
Other: This is the best college I have ever seen. I suggest that every student take admission in NIT Patna.

It includes electrical engineering subjects and core energy courses. Semester exams are of a moderate level, not too easy and not too difficult, unless you do not study.
Other: This is the best college I have ever seen. I suggest students take admission in NIT Patna.

Placement in mechanical is very good.
Placements: NIT Patna is famous for its placement in the mechanical department. This year, in 2025, the placement percentage of the mechanical department is 102 percent. The highest offer is 12.5 LPA, while the average is about 7.5 LPA, and the lowest was 6 LPA in the mechanical department. Mostly companies related to core mechanical, like Renault, L&T, and Ambuja, participated in the placements. Many students got internships this summer in various PSUs like ONGC, NPTEL, and L&T, with about 50% of people securing internships.
Infrastructure: Various facilities are provided throughout the course, like a lab for each core subject with experienced professors. We do have a Wi-Fi-enabled campus, and the speed is also good. The library is a peaceful and cozy place to study, while the classroom conditions are average, not as good. Hostel rooms are okayish but still not up to par, and the mess food is average. Medical facilities are available on campus, and we do have emergency vans. Various sports facilities are available here, and NIT Patna also participates in various inter-NIT competitions.
Faculty: All the teachers are qualified and knowledgeable. Most of the professors are IITians. Some teachers are not as good at teaching, but some are very awesome. The course curriculum is still old school, but for the core part, it will make you industry-ready. Semester exams are easy; it will only take 1-2 weeks of study to pass the exams. The pass percentage was almost 96%.
Other: I like mechanical engineering because I enjoy understanding the mechanisms of any equipment. As of now, I don't want any improvement in my course. NIT Patna is located in the middle of town, so the surroundings are very good; everything is available. It is situated beside the Ganga Ghat, so we have a good place to chill in the evening. Various extracurricular activities are also provided through the course.

NIT Patna infrastructure and facilities review.
Placements: The placement cell in our institute is present in the main building. The main job of placement cell is to invite different companies from all over to come to campus and conduct interviews for students and hire them. There are startup-related ideas. The different companies that visit campus include Google, Tata, Reliance, Oracle, etc. The highest package offered is 81 LPA, and average is around 17 LPA. The lowest is 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average. The size of campus is very vast. We have a central library where we can study, also there are many books you can access for 3 months. There are ACs and Wi-Fi facilities provided all over the campus. There is SAC (student activity center), where many seminars and related activities used to happen. In each of the core department, there is 1 auditorium. We have a sports complex where we can play almost all the games.
Faculty: There are about 35 faculty members associated with my course. They all possess a very good understanding of the subjects they teach. They all have done Ph.D. in the specific domain. Their method of teaching is also very good, and they are knowledgeable and skilled. They try to explain the topics with PPTs and projectors. They also try to inculcate discussion-related thinking among the students. The teacher-to-student ratio is also very good.

NIT Patna is one of the best NITs in India without a doubt.
Placements: 87% of students get placed at NIT Patna this year. 80 LPA is the highest, 17 LPA - 19 LPA is average, and 7 LPA is the lowest salary in FAANG companies. Back-end developer, AI developer, interns web assistant are roles offered. Nothing more to tell about this, and it is even hard as competition is very high to be placed. Some people coming out of placement cell are disappoint.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of college and hostels are very good in the first year, and we have triple-seater rooms that have enough space. All rooms are equipped with LAN, and Wi-Fi is available. It has a speed of about 10-12 Mbps but the network is limited to the mess, but LAN works properly. I was in hostel 2 Bhisma Bhawan. This hotel has very good food in quality as well as taste. Hostel has 2 volleyball courts, 1 badminton court, and a lot of space for cricket, football, and other games.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful, cooperative, skillful, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is up to the mark. The course is relevant for students to excel in any industry. Semester exams are of a moderate level, and the pass percentage is 95%. The paper level is moderate. A college education is sufficient for both personal and professional growth.

this year as the procedure of declaring result has been changed which is now based on percentile so you have to wait till the final result gets declare because final result will only tell in which college you can get admission. The final result will be declared after JEE Mains April exam. Good luck
