The complete fair review of NIT Patna.

Placements: I don't know much about the placement information since I am in the first year, but I do believe through various sources that the average package for my branch i.e. Computer Science is about 1500000/Annum. The highest on campus placement is about 52 LPA, while the off campus placement has reached a maximum of 1.2Cr as per the reports. SO placements have quite decent in the college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite good, since it is a very-very old college the maintenance has been done quite good to save its old beauty. The classrooms are well-equipped with ACs, Wi-Fi. The college also a central library which is also equipped with AC and Wi-Fi and of-course a lot of Books. The Hostel and mess condition of the college is decent, but the mess food is repeated daily.

Faculty: The teachers here are quite good and helpful but the course curriculum is a bit over-date, though It contains the basic that is a must for every student, but the newer things that are popular in the sector are not updated in the college curriculum. The semester exams are also quite decent, if you prepare well for the exams you will surely get good grades.

Other: I chose this course because of the popularity of the computer Science branch and its increasing demand in the market field. I think that the curriculum of the course which I am currently studying must be updated and point towards the latest curriculum. The Events and fests are the absolute heart of the college, the annual technical and cultural event is known as CORONA and MILAGE.

Our college provides very good placements, faculty, and environment.

Placements: Our college provides very good placements. Many companies especially visit our college from the IT sector to offer on-campus placements. Around 636 eligible students got placed. The highest salary package offered on-campus is 52 LPA and the lowest salary package is 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Cred, Oracle, Samsung, Mercedes, etc.

Infrastructure: Our campus is being constructed in Bihta and will be soon functional by 2024. Existing building is well-maintained and equipped with all kinds of new technologies. CSE department has dynamic facilities. Classrooms are fully air-conditioned. Library is open all the weekdays and is very spacious. Mess food is average.

Faculty: All the professors in our college are helpful and knowledgeable. The course curriculum is updated as per the new education policy which is indeed very good for CSE and ECE students. Semester exams are not difficult. An average student can easily score more than an 8 CGPA.

About NIT Patna infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Here at NIT Patna placement opportunities are awesome but for students in computer, IT, and ECE but for other branches like civil, mechanical and other branches are not that much good but overall it's good. I will rate 4 out of 5 for placement, and 3 for internships if we talk about the stipend for internships so average is Rs 45,000.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of my institute is excellent. It provides swimming pool for swimming. It also has a tennis court for playing tennis, football ground, basketball court, volleyball court, and many other grounds and courts for different sports. The institute has its own section for students to relax and to get some relaxing time with friends. The academic building is great in infrastructure. It has many useful and costly machines to teach students. The institute also has canteen for the students that offers good food at good rates. The Wi-Fi speed here is too good.

Faculty: While the faculty doesn't always teach genuinely, they are often approachable, as far as I can say for my department. Students are required to approach them for various reasons, such as extra credit, minor projects, etc. To add on to this, professors are very approachable for projects. There have not been any faculty members that I have had a dislike towards for any reason other than strict correction, and I don't consider that a valid reason for a dislike.
