B.Tech Cut-off

IIT Patna B.Tech cutoff 2025 concluded with the release of the Round 6 cutoff list. For the General AI quota, the cutoff ranks were in the range of 3215 and 16815. Please note that the cutoff ranks vary across different rounds, specialisations, and categories. Tabulated below is the JEE Advanced cutoff range across different categories for IIT Patna. 

IIT Ropar JEE Advanced cutoff 2026 has been released for various categories under the AI quota. In the General AI category, the first-round closing rank for CSE admission was 2907. For more categories, check out the table below: 

IIT Ropar CSE cutoff 2026 was 416 in the first round for students belonging to the General AI quota. Similarly, for IIT Patna and IIT Mandi, the closing ranks were 3303 and 3609, respectively, during the Round 1 admission. Analysing the first-round closing ranks, the competition for CSE admission was higher for IIT Ropar, followed by IIT Patna and IIT Mandi in the General AI category. 

For students belonging to the OBC category under the AI quota, the maximum cutoff rank required was 3160 in 2025 for BTech admission at IIT Madras. Candidates can refer to the table below to view the B.Tech. branch-wise cutoff details for the last round. 

IIT Madras JEE Advanced cutoff 2026 is available in the table below for CSE Round 1 admission across various categories under the All India quota.

To get the core BTech branches, such as Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, etc, the SC category students must target a cutoff rank of up to 6585 for admission in Round 1. If you belong to the General AI category, the IIT Kanpur BTech cutoff 2026 ranged from 276 to 10552. Based on the first round closing rank 2026, BTech in CSE was the most competitive for admission with the lowest cutoff rank of 276 in the General category. 

IIT BHU BTech cutoff 2026 has been released, wherein the Round 1 closing ranks varied between 1436 and 13991 for General, while for the EWS category, the cutoff ranks were between 245 and 2062. During the IIT BHU JEE Advanced cutoff 2026, the Round 1 closing ranks for BTech core branches, including Civil, Chemical, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, ranged between 936 and 2245 for the SC category students under the AI quota.  Considering the first round cutoff, candidates must target a cutoff rank of up to 2245 and below to get BTech core branches at IIT Varanasi.

IIT BHU cutoff 2026 was released for the first round for admission to the BTech courses based on the students performance in the JEE Advanced exam. 

For the General AI category, the round 1 cutoff ranged from 1436 to 13991 for various BTech courses. Among all courses, B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering was the most competitive, with the cutoff being 1436.
