Delhi Technological University - DTU talks and tables.
Placements: According to the number of students studying in the university, the placements are average. The number of companies that visit is insanely remarkable, thus making the placements in comparison to other colleges comparable and way better than others. Keeping this in mind, the college is very good.
Infrastructure: Course infrastructure is amazing. The Wi-Fi availability and the library are very well-equipped. The library is also open for 24 hours. When exams are coming, they happen on time.
Faculty: Exams are held with honesty, and students are helped by professors. Good resources are provided to each and every student, and the accommodation capacity is huge. External viva are held, and many practical-based exams are held to help the students to be ready to take on the real-life learning intake. Only necessary topics are taught in ML, and AI are also captivating and brilliant.
Other: Engifest is the most amazing fest of Delhi, and many more interesting fests are happening.

College is good with an excellent placement rate, a good campus view, and a hill vibe.
Placements: The placement percentage of DTU is above 85%. The highest package is 64 LPA, the average package is 20 LPA, and the lowest package is in the range of 7 to 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, and Amazon. The internship rate is above 90 per cent in companies like Google, Amazon, Apple, and Cisco. Top roles include software development engineer, web developer, and full-stack developer.
Infrastructure: Facilities in DTU are quite good, with a good Wi-Fi connection, proper labs, and classrooms with a capacity of around 100 students with comfortable tables. The library is also very good, with many books on different topics, a good Wi-Fi connection, and proper facilities with a lot of space for reading and studying it.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and helpful, with great knowledge in their fields. They are experts in their core subjects. The course is curriculum-related and provides a wide scope in the tech industry. It prepares students for the industry and encourages them to go beyond the limits of the industry. Semester exams are quite moderate, with a pass percentage of around 30 to 33%.
Other: I have a great interest in software development, so I chose this course. This course is solid and still allows us to compete in placements with CSE students, which is a good thing about it. I don't think anything needs to be upgraded in my course. Events and fests are quite good in this college, having fests like Yuvaan and Engifest, which are the largest fests in North India. The college has connectivity with metro stations around it; Samaypur Badli and Rithala are the closest to it. It also gives students opportunities for scholarships.

DTU- Amazing college with good facilities.
Placements: The placements of the 2025 software engineering batch were really good. With a maximum package of 85 LPA from SE, the average being 22 LPA and the median being 19 LPA. The total number of students placed from software engineering was around 80 to 90 percent.
Infrastructure: The facilities and the infrastructure of the college and the course/department are good. Wi-Fi, classrooms, laboratories, library, etc. All other facilities like hostel, the quality of food in the mess and canteen, medical facilities, sports, and games.
Faculty: Teachers of software engineering are very helpful, very qualified, and very knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good, covering everything about the syllabus. The course curriculum is very relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. Exams are okay.

Infrastructure-wise it's good and Hill College.
Placements: According to reports, this year nearly 70% students in the Software Engineering branch got placed at an average package of 18LPA. The highest package was 85LPA. Which is quite good considering the fact that nowadays there is some sort of stability in teaching jobs due to various reasons. Also, the number of companies which came for an internship was also good, comparable to NITs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the software department is top-notch. The classrooms are clean and air-conditioned. There is an elevator facility available, and the labs have proper working computers. For Wi-Fi, I would say use your own internet because DTU Wi-Fi will work in very specific regions, so it's better to use your own. But for the hostel, it is terrible for first-year boys. They don't give you Wi-Fi, and 5 people live in the same flat (2bhk), the almirahs are either too small or very old, and the hostel looks so old. Mess food is decent. From the second year, hostels are also quite good.
Faculty: Teachers are good, and most importantly, they don't detain you any reasons. Overall, the course curriculum is good, but for the first semester, there is not a single programming-related subject. Semester exams are not too easy or too difficult, they are just moderately difficult. If you study properly, then you will be able to perform well in exams. The pass percentage is also good. But they are very serious about UFM in exams.
Other: I chose this course because it covers so many topics related to teaching like programming, machine learning, and software design. My suggestion for improvement in the course would be to add at least one teaching-related subject like CO101 in the first semester. About events and fests, this year was a nightmare for freshers because they did not get the freshers' party and their 2-3 fests got cancelled, but in general, the fests of DTU are among the best in India.

Great placements and strong infrastructure, but faculty quality and workload needs improvement.
Placements: Around 75% of students who registered for placements were placed in the software engineering branch. The highest package offered is 85 LPA by Ebullient Securities, the lowest was around 7-10 LPA, and the average package is 18 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Flipkart, Google, Uber, Adobe, and Sprinklr. Top roles were mostly SDE and very few analyst roles.
Infrastructure: The Software Engineering Department is inside the newly constructed Academic Block. It is an 8-storey building that is shared by both Computer Science and Software Engineering branches. All of the classrooms are air-conditioned, and Wi-Fi connectivity is good inside labs and classrooms. Labs are well-equipped with the latest computers in some labs. There is a 3-storey air-conditioned library that is open on all days except Sundays. There are multiple hostels that are mostly non-air-conditioned triple sharing. There are 2 air-conditioned triple sharing hostels, one for boys and one for girls.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable in their respective domains. All of the assistant professors who are assigned teaching duty to first years are at least Ph.D. holders. They are highly qualified, but some lack the necessary communication skills. Also, there are some teachers that are late or don't show up to classes. The course curriculum of the first year is very outdated, teaching us redundant subjects like Computer Workshop. From the second year, industry-relevant courses like DSA and OOPS are introduced. The semester exams are of moderate difficulty which can be easily paced with one week of preparation. The passing marks are 21/60 in theory.
Other: I chose this course as it was the best that I could get at my JEE Main rank due to Delhi quota. Another factor that made me choose this course is the amazing placement record of DTU. The best things about my course are that it has industry-relevant courses from the second year like OOPS and DSA. Some things that I think should be better are unnecessary lab files and assignments which are there only for formality. Due to the large intake, the crowd is very diverse. There are multiple scholarships like Bharti Airtel, etc. Connectivity with metro is also good.

It's good if you are good at coding or you have an interest in programming then you'll surely get an excellent placement from the branch. My friend recently grabbed a 90k per month internship from the software engineering branch. So, Definitely, his placement will be much higher than the internship
