B.Tech. in Environmental Engineering - Batch of 2029
4.0
It is a decent college for B.Tech in Environmental Engineering.
Placements: It is a decent branch in terms of placements. If your CGPA is above 8, you can easily get a decent package of 10–12 LPA in non-tech roles. If you are looking for core jobs, the package is usually around 8–10 LPA. However, if your goal is to pursue a tech role, this branch may not be the best choice. So choose it according to your interests.
Infrastructure: Decent because I am a day scholar, so the food quality is okay. If you are a hosteller, then you may eat from the mess 3–4 times a week. The hostel rooms are also decent. If your roommate is interactive and extroverted, then you will live the best part of your life.
Faculty: Faculty is also good. They are supportive in most cases. However, some of them can be irritating, but they become easier to communicate with after some time. In my first semester, common subjects like PCM received different reviews because faculty members vary each year. Overall, the faculty is good.
Other: The crowd is really good in my branch. All of them excel in their lives. In their first year, they are doing internships, tech roles, certificates, etc.

No placement, bad teacher, good environment.
Placements: No placement literally, if you are not good at scoring, you will be asked to leave the college, as on average, students don't get placed here. prepare skill which could pay you in the future, otherwise have no hope. DTU placement is like okay and bad for average students.
Infrastructure: Nothing is available, not even cricket bats, for the students. We pay a 2.5 Lacs fee and get almost no facility at all. Everything is used, I don't know why they don't have any facilities, and the sports complex is crooked, like it seems like sometimes it's a 3-tier college.
Faculty: Some teachers are very good, but some are really bad, like they don't have any sense, they don't think about your career or life for a second. Most of them are egoistic and bad, they will only help the toppers, and they will never help you with anything.
Other: Make good friends and have a fun time, you only live once, enjoy.

Review of Delhi Technological University.
Placements: As my branch is a newer one, not many students got placed in it. About 50-60 percent got placed, the highest package is 15 LPA, which I heard from students until now, as placement season is still going on. Companies like Bajaj and Maruti come here. One of our seniors from my society is currently working as an intern at Maruti Suzuki. But students in core branches generally prepare for job roles like data analyst.
Infrastructure: 1st year hostels are the worst, no Wi-Fi. Labs and classrooms are good. The library is also good, but timings are limited, which is a bad thing (9:30 to 21:30) and on holidays, they close the library. Holidays are the only days on which we get an opportunity to study in the library, it is supposed to be open on holidays. Hostels-bad, library- okay, crowd - best for me, placements- nice, sports facilities - good.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified, and we also get separate lectures only for doubts. Curriculum is updated, in CSE, we get the opportunity to learn web design from the 1st semester itself. Semester exams have a good level of questions, most of the questions are from PyQs.

It has average teachers, decent placements, good infrastructure, the best society culture, etc.
Placements: The placement scenario of our college is very decent. If we work hard we can easily get a very good salary package here. The average salary package offered in this college is 15 LPA in the session 2023-24. In the CSE course, the average salary package offered is nearly 23 LPA, which is very good. Lots of internships are also offered to many students with the highest stipend ranging from Rs. 20,000 to 2 lakhs per month by Sprinkler company in the college.
Infrastructure: Facilities are decent. However, with the fees students are paying to the college, I feel like somewhere a little bit of improvement needs to be done. There are various classrooms in the college with Wi-Fi connectivity available throughout the campus. The hostel facility for 1st-year students is not as good as the other hostels out there. The food in the mess at first will be tasty but after sometimes the quality diminishes and we will not like the taste. However, we have got other alternatives to get rid of the mess.
Faculty: Faculty members are a little below average to be very honest. Teachers are pursuing PhD on the same campus and taking our classes on the same premises. They are teachers but they don't come every day to classes and take leave all the time. The course curriculum is not relevant in the modern scenario. The difficulty level of the semester exams is not so much. If we study for 1 week before mid-semester and 2 weeks before end-semester, we can get a very good rank in the class.
Other: I have not chosen this course, and this course chose me. After studying the course as of now I started liking it but somehow I feel like I have to do something to get a good placement. I wanted the faculty members to get involved with students to elevate their careers to new heights. Events are the charm of this college. Various fests are happening throughout the year. The connectivity is also very good. Near the bus stand only there is a college gate. Two metro stations are nearly 2 kilometers from the college. Various scholarships are there for students of lower caste.

It is a good experience. Exploring college life is very important.
Placements: These days, due to the recession in Tamil Nadu, placements are not top-notch but are still decent for the 2024 and 2025 batches. There are off-campus opportunities available. Students must have strong communication skills and the necessary skillset for their desired job roles. Without these, colleges can't guarantee a job. Students need to work hard. Overall, 70–80% of students at DTU get placed, but it's not 100% in core branches. In environmental engineering, companies like Maruti Suzuki, TERI, GAIL, and EY are some of the big firms that come for placements. However, very few students get on-campus internships. Most apply off-campus and do internships during college. In environmental engineering, many students go for non-teaching roles such as business analyst and associate. Some prefer to pursue higher studies. Those who focus on placements and work hard definitely get a decent job.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is absolutely great. The Wi-Fi network is often overloaded due to the large number of students. Labs are top-notch, and the hostel facilities are good, with average mess food quality. There is a medical center with various doctors available. The sports area is vast, and the infrastructure is excellent, with a big campus and greenery all around. There are 2–3 stationery shops and 2 canteens. Additionally, there are two auditoriums. The old hostels are not in good condition, but the new ones are really great.
Faculty: The curriculum is a mix of theoretical and practical knowledge. It is not always aligned with industrial requirements, as the industry needs knowledgeable candidates for specific job roles. It is advisable to study subjects in depth if one wants to pursue a career in the core field. Faculty is well-educated, and there are Ph.D. students who sometimes teach us. Our academic exams include mid-semester exams, end-semester exams, assignments, and viva. Semester exams are of moderate to hard level. Core branches are quite tough. In environmental engineering, one can't get a 10 CGPA; it is really tough compared to Computer Science. Computer Science students are able to score 9.5+ CGPA in their graduation.
Other: There are around 3,000 students in a batch, so the campus is crowded. Students usually come to college when classes are scheduled. There is a large number of students in CS and IT, while other core branches have smaller sizes. Campus life is more focused on students' concerns about placements and careers. There are fests from time to time, and students enjoy them. During Engifest (the annual fest of DTU), there is a huge crowd from other colleges. Scholarships are also available for those who are aware and eligible. I advise you to aim for a good CGPA (more than 8.0), as it helps a lot in placements and internship opportunities.

For those who don't make it to DTU, DTU is more than or like IITs.
Placements: Environment engineering is a specialized field that focuses on the application of scientific and engineering principles to protect and reserve the environment. In our branch, most companies that visit our campus are non-technical companies like Deloitte.
Infrastructure: Delhi Technological University has one of the biggest campuses in Delhi, with many food and beverage stalls, wide and big sports grounds and open green space to hang out with your friends. DTU gives life to their students as well as faculty, and I think it's the best college.
Faculty: Faculty and curriculum are a big drawback in this college. Professors are least qualified and don't have knowledge to teach. It is a great place to study with its vast collection and quiet rooms. The campus is also very green, with plenty of places to relax. Academically, my college is demanding but offers a well-rounded education. Professors are knowledgeable.
Other: Overall, according to me, DTU gives a chill life to their students as well as faculty. In my opinion, it's the best college in Delhi .

Really good infrastructure and opportunities.
Placements: 50 to 60% placement in our branch this year so it's a good option for freshers. The highest package this year is INR 7 lakh. The top recruiting companies are Sprinkler and Infoedge. Their top roles are data analysts and business analysts. In my branch, 40 to 50 internships are provided by our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure, like the girls hostel, is very good but the boys hostel is not, and the old building and library are beautiful and large. The labs are also well maintained with better equipment and good food quality but some hostels provide food with poor hygiene.
Faculty: The faculty in environment engineering is quite good but they are experienced people, and their way of teaching is good. The course curriculum is very easy as compared to the other courses, and semester exams are conducted every month like mock tests.

Review of DTU - Delhi Technological University.
Placements: Now, due to the recession, the placement percentage ratio is down in the environment engineering branch. Out of 75 students, only 15 placed out of 75 in October, but in 2023, it will be 70 percent, so it is a good ratio in environment engineering and the highest package is INR 26 lacs.
Infrastructure: The facilities are good in the library, hostel, canteen, or mess hostel. Especially talking about the girls hostel, better facilities are provided than the boys hostel. Now, quality food is okay, but not hygienic, and the classroom does not have proper AC in the lower branch. Overall, the infrastructure is good.
Faculty: Faculty in environment engineering are very strict in attendance and they are experienced and knowledgeable faculty as compared to other colleges. You can study for exams two days before and score more every semester.
