SC refuses to postpone CLAT 2021

The Supreme Court has refused to postpone the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2021 that is scheduled to be held on July 23 between 2 pm and 4 pm for both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Moreover, the apex court has lifted the requirement that students must be vaccinated before appearing for the exam as demanded by the General Body of the Consortium of National Law Universities.
A Division Bench of Justice Nageswara Rao and Justice Aniruddha Bose has directed that the authorities should not insist on students taking vaccine, and all safety measures must be strictly followed while conducting
CLAT 2021.
About CLAT 2021
The national-level entrance exam is conducted for admissions to undergraduate and postgraduate law programmes offered by 22 National Law Universities in India. The consortium of National Law Universities organizes the exam in pen and paper mode.
The exam authorities have banned smartwatches inside the exam hall. As per the latest circular, only analog wrist watches are allowed inside the exam premises.
