The CGC mohal conducts CGCUET, scholarship examination cosnucted for individuals aspiring to pursue advanced studies. Those in search of financial aid to undertake undergraduate programs in Engineering, Management, Commerce, Law, Computer Application, Journalism, or Science fields are encouraged to participate in this examination. The CGCUET Scholarship is exclusively available for undergraduate programs and is awarded based on the scores achieved in the examination.

To register for CGCUET exam, candidates must follow the steps mentioned below:

Registration for CGCUET 2025 has commenced , and applicants can complete the application process online at cgc.ac.in. The deadline for CGCUET 2025 registration May 20, 2025. To be eligible for the scholarship, candidates must complete the online application form and participate in the CGCUET exam. Candidates must ensure to fulfill the prescribed eligibility criteria before filling the application form, failing which their candidature will stand cancelled.

Candidates seeking financial assistance for higher education in Engineering, Management, Commerce, Law, Computer Applications, Journalism, or Science must take the CGCUET. The scholarship is available only for undergraduate programs, and the CGCUET Scholarship is awarded based on the points earned in the exam.

CGCUET is conducted twice in a year. The first stage of CGCUET is conducted from December to March 31 and the second stage of CGCUET commence from June till August end. Candidates registered for CGC Josh must schedule the exam within the 15 days from the date of registration. Candidates will not be permitted to re-schedule the exam after 15 days.

No, there is no negative marking in CGCUET exam. As per the CGCUET marking scheme:

• Candidate will get two marks for every correct answer.
• No marks will be deducted for wrong answer or not attempted question.

CGCUET exam will consist of 50 questions, 25 questions in Part A and 25 queestions in Part B. The maximum marks for CGCUET exam is 100 marks.

The CGCUET application fee is INR 500. Candidates can pay the CGCUET registration fee in online mode only. No fee waiver will be applicable on CGCUET applicaton form. Candidates will be able to pay the application fee through any of the paymet methods:

• UPI
• Wallets
• Debit/Credit card

Once candidate register for CGCUET, the registration will be valid for 15 days or until the final date to take the exam. Applicant must complete the exam within this timeframe. This rule applies to both stages of the exam. Students may reschedule their exam date only within the 15-day CGCUET registration period. A second chance to take the exam will only be provided if a student misses their scheduled exam on the first attempt.

If candidate has forgotten CGCUET login password they can easily reset it by following these steps:

Step 1: Go to the CGCUET login page and find the "Forgot Password" option.

Step 2: Enter the email address through which candidate has registered.

Step 3: Verification link will be sent on the registered email for resetting your password.

Step 4: Click on the link provided in the email and set a new password. Then, click the "Submit" button.

Step 5: After resetting your password, applicant can log in to CGCUET account. From there, they can book exam slot (if not applied).

Yes, candidates can reschedule the CGCUET exam date within the 15 days of registration. Students will not be able to reschedule the exam date of they surpass the 15 days from the date of the registration. Candidates will get the second chance of exam if they missed it on the first chance. Stage 1 of CGCUET is conducted from December to May and Stage 2 is conducted from June 2025 to August end 2025.

CGC admission process is conducted in following steps:

• After signing up, candidate will receive their login ID and password via SMS and email.
• Log in using ID and password, and complete profile.
• Pay the fee and schedule exam slot within 15 days or before the deadline.

Yes, it is compulsory for all candidates across streams to appear for CGCUET Part A. The Part A will consist of four sections i.e., Basic English, Basic Computers, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Knowledge. The subjects in Part B will vary for candidates according to stream.

As per the CGCUET exam pattern, the question paper will be divided intor two sections. The CGCUET exam will include multiple choice questions. Candidates will have to attempt 50 questions in 50 minutes duration. There will be no negative marking for any wrong answers and candidates will be rewarded 2 marks for every correct answer.

CGC does not release the CGCUET cut off. Candidates are offered the percentage of scholarship on the basis of the percentage they have obtained in the exam. CGCUET will be declared within 24 hours from the time student had appeared for the exam. Candidates who will appear for the exam will be able to check their results online at scholarship.cgc.ac.in. Candidates will be required to enter the login credentials. The CGCUET will be displayed on the candidate's dashboard.
