The Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education has released the timetable for the 2026 board exams, putting an end to the speculation around the schedule. According to the dates published on board’s website, the Class 12 exam will begin on February 20, while the Class 10 exams will start a day later, on February 21.
Both the exam, Class 10, Class 12 will be held till mid March with all papers in the morning shift. Students have been asked to report by 9 am, with writing time stretching till 12:15 pm, similar to previous years.

Chhatisgarh board timetable has been shared a little earlier than expected this time, giving students sufficient time to organise their study plans. The board has uploaded complete subject-wise schedule on its portal, and students have been advised to check dates carefully, especially those opting for vocational or additional language subjects.

The board will announce the CG Board 12th 2nd main exam date 2026 after declaration of main exam result. However, as per the 2026 exam dates, the board is expected to hold the CGBSE 12th second main exams 2026 in July 2026. As soon as the official dates are announced, we will update the same here.

Yes, going to washroom during the class 10 board exams in India is allowed. When appearing for the any class 10 board exams, you must feel relaxed, confident and comfortable. So yes, students are allowed to use washroom even during the class 10 board exams. However, an invigilator can take you to the washroom because many students often use washroom for using unfair means and cheat in board exam.
Students must note that the invigilator can frisk them anytime during the exam duration if they found using unfair means for cheating inside the washroom. So, it is recommended to use washroom only when needed.
