Odisha Plus Two Date Sheet 2022 is likely to be revised due to inadequacy of time between a few papers. Also, a new weightage system has been introduced for Class 12 students.

CHSE Odisha Plus Two exams 2022: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) will likely be revising the CHSE Odisha Exam Dates 2022 for Plus 2 students. As per local media reports, School Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash has asked CHSE to reconsider and revise Odisha 12th board exam date sheet due to inadequacy of time between few papers. The revised date sheet, will be announced on the official website at chseodisha.nic.in. CHSE Odisha Exam 2022 Date change is most likely to happen for Science subjects.
During an interaction with the media, the Minister even said that students of over 1,500 colleges are expected to write Odisha Plus 2 Exams this year. For smooth conduct of exams, more than 1,100 centres have been set up, where COVID-19 safety protocols will also be followed. Further, CCTVs are being installed in these centres to enhance the security.
CHSE Odisha Exam 2022 are scheduled for Plus 2 students on April 28, 2022 in offline mode.

New Weightage System for Plus Two students

The state board has also introduced a new system for marking of the students:

  • 80% weightage on the basis of performance in Annual H.S. Examination and 20% weightage from the performance in Quarter End Examinations/Internal Exams.
  • Performance of the students based on their performance only in Annual H. S Examination, that is, 100% weightage on final annual exams.
The students will be marked on the basis of whichever weightage offers higher marks for the candidates out of these two schemes. The highest marks shall be the final mark.
This decision has been made due to the decision on reducing syllabus due to the COVID-19 pandemic to decrease the stress and load of examinations from students. Out of the 100% weightage or the 80-20% weightage, whichever is more will be considered from 70% syllabus for the Odisha Plus Two exams.
