MBOSE HSSLC Exams 2026 Cancelled in West Garo Hills
MBOSE HSSLC Board Exam 2026: Meghalaya Board of School Education has cancelled two of its MBOSE class 12 exams scheduled for March 11 and 12, 2026, in district of West Garo Hills due to volatile situation. According to an official notification issued by MBOSE, Meghalaya HSSLC exam 2026 for Music, which was scheduled to be held on March 11 and Anthropology, scheduled for March 12, 2026, have been cancelled in West Garo Hills district only. The board stated that the decision was taken considering current situation in West Garo Hills district to ensure safety and convenience of students appearing for MBOSE HSSLC board exam 2026.
New Dates for Meghalaya Board HSSLC Exam to Be Announced Later
Meghalaya Board has informed that Music and Anthropology exams that were cancelled will be rescheduled on new dates, which will be announced later through an official notification. Students appearing for these subjects in West Garo Hills are advised to keep checking official websites regarding the revised MBOSE 12th exam schedule.
Students from West Garo Hills who were scheduled to appear for the Music and Anthropology papers are advised not to panic and wait for the board’s further notification regarding new exam dates. Schools and exam centres will also inform them once the revised schedule is released.
Meghalaya Board 12th Exams in Other Districts to Continue as Scheduled
MBOSE clarified that the cancellation applies only to West Garo Hills district. Meghalaya HSSLC exams for the rest of the districts will be conducted as per the original schedule. Students in other districts are expected to appear for their exams on the scheduled dates without any changes.
