CEED Result was declared on March 04, 2026 by IIT Bombay. Now, the scorecard will be released for students. After this, Counseling for M.Des admission will start. IIT Bombay will not conduct any Joint counselling for CEED. But individual institutions will conduct counselling for M.Des admission in their institutes.

IIT Bombay released the CEED Entrance Test result on March 04, 2026 for M.Des programme. The next step will be the release of the CEED 2026 Scorecard. Check what happens after the result and how admission takes place at IITs.

CEED results were out on March 04, 2026 for all the candidates who had appeared for CEED Entrance Test on January 18, 2026. Now, after the release of the CEED Scorecard, counselling will be conducted by individual institutes. IIT Bombay will not conduct any Joint counselling for CEED shortlisted students. After the result announcement, candidates have to apply to each institute for admission. Candidates can apply to CEED Participating Institutes and Result-sharing Institutes.

Next Step after CEED 2026 Result Announcement

1. Apply to Participating Institutes and Result Sharing Institutes: Candidates who have qualified for M.Des need to fill the M.Des application form for institutes (IITs and other) in which they wish to study. Each institute will have their own admission process and dates for admission.

2. Written Exam/Design Test: Some of the insttutes may conduct their written test to give admission to CEED qualified students.

3. Personal Interview: Some of the institutions may interview the CEED-qualified students. Students may be asked to prepare portfolio and appear for the interview.

The admission cutoff for CEED 2026 will be released during seat allotment. The admission cutoff is the minimum rank one needs for admission. The cutoff (admission) would be determined based on factors like seat intake, total applications received for admission, the category of the candidate, etc. The candidate needs to apply to participating institutes based on their CEED 2026 scores. The participating institutes will conduct counselling and seat allotment at the institute level.
