The Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges in Karnataka (COMEDK) will conclude the COMEDK registration 2026 on March 16, 2026. The COMEDK  application window is active on the official website, comedk.org. Several candidates who are now registering online report that they are facing login errors related to OTP verification. With the COMEDK registration deadline approaching soon, candidates are concerned that the technical glitch might keep them from applying for the national-level COMEDK UGET 2026 exam.

What is the Technical Error?

After entering the phone number, the registration portal displays a message, 'tried to validate OTP for which the OTP is not generated in this current session.' Because of this issue, some candidates are unable to complete the registration process to proceed with form-filling and fee payment. 

Possible Solutions

Although based on the feedback shared by the students, this issue is on the registration portal itself and has nothing to do with the candidate's end. But to be sure, applicants who are facing this issue are advised to try the following tips to resolve the login error.

• Refresh the page and try again after some time
• Clear browser cache and cookies
• Log in using a different browser or device
• Checking internet connectivity before requesting OTP again

COMEDK Exam Date 2026

The authority has announced the COMEDK 2026 exam date. The COMEDK UGET 2026 exam will be held on May 9 for admission to engineering programmes in about 150 participating colleges in Karnataka. The exam will be held in computer-based mode in over 181 exam centres across India. Registered candidates will be issued the COMEDK 2026 admit card on April 29. Students can download the same from the candidate login at comedk.org.
