In a significant academic milestone, all B.Tech programmes under the School of Engineering, Cochin University of Science and Technology (CUSAT) have been reaccredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA) under the Tier I category. The renewed accreditation will remain valid till December 2028, marking a major recognition of the university’s academic standards, teaching quality and outcome-based education practices.

The NBA Tier I accreditation is granted only to institutions that meet its quality benchmarks aligned with global engineering education standards. It also strengthens the university’s standing among top engineering institutions in India.
