GUJCET 2026 Exam Date OUT; Registrations to begin soon

The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board (GSEB) released the Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET) 2026 dates on November 8. As per the GUJCET 2026 exam dates, the state-level entrance will be conducted on Sunday, March 29, 2026.

The detailed information brochure of the GUJCET is expected to be released soon; however, with the exam date now fixed, the online registration is expected to commence likely in late December 2025 or early January 2026.

How to register for the GUJCET exam?

To apply for the GUJCET 2026 exam, candidates will have to follow the steps mentioned below - 

• The online application form will be available at the official website through the GSEB portal - https://gujcet.gseb.org/.
• On the homepage, students will have to register by filling in all their details and uploading scanned copies of their photograph and signature as per the prescribed format.
• To successfully submit the form, they will have to pay the GUJCET application fee online.

What is the GUJCET exam?

The GUJCET is a state-level entrance exam that is held to shortlist students for admission into engineering and degree/diploma pharmacy courses offered by participating colleges in Gujarat. The GUJCET test will be conducted in offline pen and paper mode. The question paper will be based on the NCERT Class 12 Science curriculum for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Maths.

GUJCET Exam Pattern 2026

The GUJCET questions will be based on objective-type multiple-choice questions. The Engineering (Group A) question paper will be based on Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, while Pharmacy (Group B) will have Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
