MHT CET 2026 Exam Begins Today for PCM Group; Check Reporting Timings, Guidelines
The MHT CET 2026 PCM exam starts today. The exam will be conducted over 9 days in two shifts on each day. Around 4.79 lakh candidates have registered for the first attempt. Candidates appearing for the exam must check the dress code guidelines and the document checklist before leaving for the centres.
The State Common Entrance Test (CET) Cell, Maharashtra, is conducting the MHT CET 2026 exam for the PCM group from April 11 to 20. Today marks the first day of the Maharashtra engineering exam. Candidates appearing for the state-level computer-based test held for engineering and pharmacy admissions in Maharashtra must check the important guidelines and instructions before reporting to the test centres. Students have to carry certain documents and follow the dos and don'ts to get entry inside the exam hall.Β

Firstly, students must carry a printed copy of their MHT CET hall ticket and photo ID proof to the centres. PwD candidates have to carry the UDID card as well. Do not carry any prohibited items to the test centre, as they will not be allowed inside the centres. Students must plan their travel to reach early and facilitate mandatory frisking and security checks. The authority will conduct biometric verification before allocating seats to all students.

MHT CET Exam Day Guidelines 2026:Β AI-Based Cheating Warning
The State Common Entrance Test Cell, Maharashtra, has clearly warned candidates against using any unfair means, including AI-based cheating tools.

Use of smart devices, hidden gadgets, or AI tools is strictly banned.

Any attempt to cheat using technology will lead to immediate disqualification.

Candidates may also face future exam bans or legal action.
