MHT CET 2026 Hits All-Time High Registrations with 11.43 Lakh Applicants for PCM & PCB
MHT CET 2026 registration has concluded. Registered candidates will be able to edit their application forms from March 5 to 7. CET Cell has recorded the highest number of registrations this year due to the two-attempt format. Check details below.
The State Common Entrance Test Cell has recorded the highest number of registrations for MHT CET 2026 in the PCM and PCB groups. A total of 11,42,610 candidates have registered across both streams and attempts this year. Registered candidates will be able to appear for MHT CET in April and May 2026 for admission to engineering and pharmacy courses.
Out of the total registrations, 7,60,981 candidates applied for the PCM group, while 3,81,629 candidates registered for the PCB group. The increase has been mainly seen in the PCM stream. In 2025, around 4,64,262 students had registered for PCM. This year, the first attempt alone saw 4,74,656 PCM registrations, which is an increase of 10,394 candidates, around 2.24% higher than last year.

Attempt-wise MHT CET 2026 Registration Data
The CET Cell introduced a two-attempt system for PCM and PCB groups this year. For the first attempt, a total of 7,40,906 students registered. For the second attempt, 3,83,981 students opted to appear. Many students have chosen to appear in both attempts to improve their scores.

Application Form Correction Window
The CET Cell will open the MHT CET 2026 application form correction window from March 5 to 7. Students can edit limited details such as their name, date of birth, photograph, signature, gender, addition of PCM or PCB group, and option for the second attempt.
