Banaras Hindu University has projected a "Finding the Leader in You" (FLY) training program for the academic session 2024-25. This project seeks to encourage and enhance the abilities of students towards ethical leadership. The comprehensive program is in association with the Competitiveness Mindset Institute and intends to develop a new generation of leaders who are genuinely committed to social responsibility and ethical ideals. Three cohorts of 110 students at the Institute of Management Studies commenced the program for the current academic session on July 27 to 30, 2024. With 120 participants, three other cohorts at the Mahila Mahavidyalaya, the Faculty of Social Sciences, and the College of Nursing have been conducted.
From August 4 to 7, 2024, three batches consisting of approximately 120 students from the Institute of Agricultural Sciences will get training. A detailed plan has been prepared in order to offer students with extensive learning over the next three months.
The programme's engaging and practice-based lessons and tasks are intended to give students the skills they need in regard to five key areas: problem-solving, perseverance, innovation, taking initiative, and conscientiousness.
Banaras Hindu University (BHU) is one of the top-ranking universities in the country. In the NIRF rankings in 2023, BHU is ranked in fifth position under the "university" category. Yes, BHU offers three-year BSc (Hons) in Maths. The course is divided into six semesters. Candidates seeking admission need to appear for CUET conducted by NTA followed by a counselling round. The applications for the same are accepted in online mode (cuet.samarth.ac.in). Moreover, before registration, candidates shall carefully check the course-specific eligibility criteria. The seat intake for this course is 573. Moreover, the fee for the programme is INR 17,050 as per unofficial sources.
